⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic upgrade, especially for app and game development!
I've been really impressed with my new Mac Studio M5. As someone who spends a lot of time developing applications and games, the difference in performance compared to my previous Mac is immediately noticeable. Building and compiling larger projects is significantly quicker, which makes a real difference when working on complex applications and games. Everything feels incredibly responsive, from switching between development tools to running multiple applications simultaneously. It just handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. Beyond development, the overall experience is fantastic. The machine feels incredibly fast, smooth and reliable, and it's a pleasure to use every day. I'm genuinely pleased with the upgrade. It's made my development workflow noticeably quicker and more enjoyable, and I couldn't be happier with the performance so far. An excellent machine, particularly if you're a developer or someone who needs serious computing power. Highly recommended!

Expensive but best of the crop
Computers are stupid expensive, only buy if you need to. Apple computers have a unified memory model with far higher bandwidth than normal ddr5 so people buy them for ai inference, so prices are again distorted upwards. That said this machine is the bargain of all of them it is fast quiet and has a reasonable amount of memory, it will also not cost you a fortune too run, it's a better proposition than an upspecced mac mini with much higher memory bandwidth. It has proper cooling so if you don't need a portable solution buy this, use your old MacBook or windows laptop to remote into it.
