Discover the "Extraordinary Storytelling Talents" of Tessa Dawn, the #1 bestselling author of the Blood Curse Series, in her Dark Fantasy/Gothic Romance vampire legend: BLOOD FATHER. (Quote by Midwest Book Review) Kagen Silivasi is a powerful, ancient vampire with a unique gift for healing - he is also a son, a brother, and a loner who has survived unspeakable tragedy and loss: Beneath his handsome, well-mannered exterior lies an alter ego consumed by rage and an overwhelming impulse to "kill them all..." Arielle Nightsong is a brave human, a rebel spirit, and an accomplished healer in her own right. Born into a harsh world of violence, cruelty, and danger, she was enslaved at the age of ten and given as a gift to the most depraved being in Mhier - the infamous king of the lycans. If not for her enduring friendship with a captive vampire, she might not have survived to escape the slave encampment...or to discover her mysterious role in an ancient Blood Curse. When Kagen and his brothers voyage into Mhier in search of their long lost father, it will take more than stealth and cunning to get out alive: Secrets will be revealed; loyalties will be tested; and an indomitable spirit will fracture beneath the weight of an impossible choice. BLOOD FATHER ~ where destiny and duty collide. Review: This book is a roller-coaster of emotions of epic proportions. - I am in awe of Tessa Dawns writing skills. She is a masterful story teller. A Bard or Seanache or Raconteur would easily fit Author Tessa Dawn. This Dark Fantasy book is so well written it leaves the reader in a Jumble Of Feelings. Thoughts all woven together. Feeling so overwhelmed and lost as the story is done. You have no idea what to do, say, think, feel. So here I am the day after finishing this book, and all I want to do is re-read this wonderful story. Yet trying to write a review. Expressing myself, trying to put the words together as to make a coherent review. Yet I am stumped. I am not an Author, I don't know how to put words together so that they make you feel such strong emotions as to why you should get this book or start this series. I can only try as a reader to get all this across. I came across this Author and Book 1 when it was first published. This was so not my usual genre. I was thinking okay another Vampire Book. I will give it a try as it sounded different, from such an overly populated subject. Was I ever glad I did! Despite the very graphic scenes I was hooked. I will tell you this I turned on every light in the house , made sure all doors and windows were locked. Didn't go out after dark for a very long time!! Book 2 came out. I had liked her Author Page and clicked on release notice, as well as liked her on Goodreads. I was in awe, this author was not a 1 hit wonder. Her characters were so well rounded, the plots so well laid out, and all that hotness from the males!! The women were strong & independent. Not the wishy washy insecure females that so many others seem to write about. You will need a strong constitution, to read these books. Very Graphic in all ways, not for anyone just wanting a Love Story, G or PG or R. Rating. I became a devote Tessa Dawn follower. As each of her books came out I was right there in front of the line! Now we are at Book 6 "Blood Father" in the Blood Curse Series. There are so many reviews giving you everything about this book. I can not be one of them. This book is a roller-coaster of emotions of epic proportions. See beginning of review, I wrote that, right after reading this book. If you are looking for a story that will take you in and not let you go till finished the story, this is not this book for you. "Wait,What, Why??" This story stays with you even after you have read it. If you are going to read it till bedtime, you will dream about this book and all the characters. Waving hands in air wildly!! To bring this review full circle. A Master Story Teller. A different take on Vampires, Hot Males, Strong Women. Plots so amazing that they stay with you long after you finish reading the book. I Highly Recommend this Book, "Blood Father" 5 Stars Patches Review: My favorite of the Blood Curse series, Absolutely fantastic - I have read all the books in the Blood Curse series. I greatly enjoyed the first one "Blood Awakening". Each book has gotten better and better and has just drawn me further into this unique world Ms. Dawn has created of the Dark Moon Vale. The books could be a standalone read but you get more out it by reading the series in order. These books are exciting, and are what is referred to as a dark vampire paranormal book, I prefer to call it realistic paranormal. Everything feels real because Ms. Dawn does not hold back. Her books are packed with action, adventure, violence, seduction, romance and very engaging people. The people, weather good or evil, are each individuals to include how they walk, behave and speak. I like the way she lets us peek into their minds and lets us know why a character acts a particular way, even if the individual is acting like a jerk. "BLOOD FATHER" included all of the above then went beyond. It is now my favorite in the series. This story grabbed my attention from the get go. It started with a tense atmosphere that I could feel and just grew from there. I laughed, cried a lot (sad and happy tears), felt joy, anger, and fell in love. I really liked the vampire Kagen. He is a strong old world alpha male that lives by a strict code but who can also be sensitive, kind, caring and loving. And Arielle is a strong and capable heroine who is no door mat. She has many sides to her personality. One of the things that makes Blood Father stand out is there is more than one hero, so you have your pick. Another thing is the believable imagery in the worlds she creates. This story grabs a hold of you and does not let go to the end. And then Ms. Dawn teases us in the epilogue for the next book in the series. Although Blood Father is a complete read, Ms. Dawn leaves you (ME) wanting more. Thank you Ms. Dawn for writing such an amazing tail.

Dark Moon Vale a locale I love visiting again and again
Kagen's story is another great addition to the series. Tessa Dawn is just a literary genius when it comes weaving a fantastic story of adventure and love. I truly enjoyed Blood Father, however for me it didn't have the same emotional impact that the previous books supplied in an abundance. I didn't feel the full burden of Kagen's inner demon "Mr. Hyde" as thoroughly as I would have liked. It spurred it's ugly head a couple of times but I just didn't get the feeling it was a huge encumberance to his being. As we all know, or at least for those following the series, each of the Silivasis have a "dark side" to their personalities, it's what makes them the Alpha males we adore. This is the first book in the series where an ugly cry didn't seep into my emotional connection to these characters, and though I love the end result of Kagen and Arielle getting there felt rushed and lacking the emotional connection I thought they deserved. I know Ms. Dawn has a word limit but I would have loved to have seen more of the connection between the two main characters of the story something a bit more involved than the you're my destiny and thats that. That is not saying the book wasn't good, because as always Ms. Dawn brought us an enjoyable story with plenty of action and turmoil to fill us to the brim. I loved the creativity of introducing an alternate dimension where the Lycans exist separate from the "human" world, I loved that she gave this dimension a prehistoric feel keeping us in the mindset that they were no longer in Dark Moon Vale. I loved that past characters were brought in and the interaction they had with one another, and I always love the banter between the brothers. I was happy for the Silivasis that they were able to save their father and bring him back into the fold of their family. The next installment of the Blood Curse series will be Ramsey and Tiffany and as usual I will be impatiently waiting to delve into that book! It can't get here soon enough :)

โMay the rivers run crimson with their bloodโ
Blood Father Book #6 of Tessa Dawnโs fabulous Blood Curse series This was the most anticipated book release. What did it mean โBlood Fatherโ, and the one line in this epic read โMay the rivers run crimson with their bloodโ literally set the entire stage for this book. This one line when I read it in a teaser gave me the goose bumps and stole my breath. I could only imagine what it meant. This read is Kagen Silvasi and Arielle Nightsongโs book. But there is a little surprise with their story. A lot was explained or revealed and the puzzle pieces fell into place. When Blood Father begins itโs with the Silvasi brothers gathering for a meeting called by Saber Alexiares and his destined one Vanya Demir. You will remember Saber from Blood Redemption. Raised as Saber Alexiares of the House of Jaeger โThe Dark Ones.โ Born Sabino Dzuna of the House of Jadon and taken from his parents as a newborn, has been trying to redeem himself and adjust to the House of Jadon as best he can. So when he meets with the Silvasi brothers itโs to give them a piece of information he remembers while he was in the House of Jaeger. This only came to fruition when Vanya was telling Saber of her dream about a dragon that burns her but she canโt stay away. She feels in her dream and I quote โhe is guarding something so precious, so valuable to the house of Jadon. A Treasure. One that had to be returned to the peopleโ unquote. Saber tells the Silvasiโs about a ledger he had been keeping of the Dark Ones taken by the Lycanthrope and were presumed dead. He also told them of another dimension where the Lycan lived. A realm parallel to theirs. In a footnote of one of the entries it mentioned a name of a vampire, a slave still living in Mhier. So when Saber told them it was their father Keitaro Silvasiโs name he read, the information he revealed was earth shattering and puts the brothers in an emotional tailspin not to mention just plain shock. For 480 years the Silvasiโs assumed their father dead and to hear he could still be alive shook them to their core. And so the tale begins. Arielle Nightsong a Rebel Warrior/healer an escaped slave from the throngs of an evil, wicked, sadistic King Thane who was totally obsessed with the fiery redhead and vowed to make her his wife and her life a living hell. How she would sneak back into the Kingโs territory to the slave hut where Keitaro Silvasi was kept, drugged and starved to clean him up and use her herbs to heal him the best she could after he fought in the arena. She was the daughter of his heart, and he the father of her heart. To Nachari researching and using his magic to open a portal to Mhier to rescue their father. To the Blood Moon and celestial constellation Aurgia the Charioteer, Kagen Silvasiโs ruling blood moon that appeared after the Silvasiโs had entered the portal into the realm of Mhier, and Napolean trying to telepathically contact Kagen to no avail. To the undeniable attraction and protectiveness Kagen has towards Arielle. She is his destined one but in Mhier the mark would not show up confusing him. To the trigger that takes Kagen back in his mind to the horrible night he saw his father taken by the Lycan and the series of events that followed. This was really tough to read but you finally understood what was going on with Kagen. Blood Curse is a must have/must read series and you really want to read the previous stories before you dive into Blood Father. You will not be disappointed. Each read is a page turner and a canโt put down book. Blood Father I believe is my new favorite of the Blood Curse series and I totally fell in love with Kagen. On a side note when will Saber put on his ring, or will he.

Intensity That Will Leave You Breathless and Wanting More
REVIEW: TESSA DAWN'S BLOOD FATHER (BLOOD CURSE SERIES,#6) Rating: 5 Hearts OMG! What an Emotional Rollercoaster Ride! I went from laughing, to crying, to rooting for their desired outcome to happen, and then just when I thought I had my emotions in check, I went through them again and again. I almost devoured this sixth installment in one sitting. I could not put it down. Miss Dawn has an extremely talented gift for writing, when she puts pen to paper, it turns out to be a well wriiten, dark adventure of intensity that will leave you breathless and wanting more. I LOVE THIS SERIES!! The characters are so well developed that I have fallen for them ALL hook, line, and sinker. They are not your sparkly vampires either. Their back stories are written with raw emotion, I like that in a book, it grabbed me from page one and kept me riveted to wherever I was sitting. The world? WOW! Another winner for Tessa Dawn and The blood Curse Series
Blood Father is the latest in the Blood Curse Series by Tessa Dawn. This series has been amazing for those of us who love Dark Fantasy. Kagen Silivasi is an Ancient Master Healer who had to watch his mother murdered by their mortal enemies The Lycans. Their father was thought dead until they learned a secret none of them ever knew. The Lycans had captured their father 480 years ago and was holding him captive. It is where he is being held captive that they could not believe. Another Dimension. All of the Silivasi brothers must travel to this dimension and try to rescue their long lost father. Kagen has always been a mystery. He seems too calm and easy going for the most part, but we find out that a long ago secret has created a beast within him that must have vengeance and will stop at nothing to get it. Each member of the house of Jaden is allowed one destiny. The woman who makes their life complete but because of the ancient curse once they find their destiny they only have 30 days to make her fall in love with them and want to be with them. If she doesnโt the male will die a horrible, agonizing death. What happens when you find your destiny in another dimension? Can the brothers rescue their father and escape this dimension in time to fulfill the demands of the Blood Curse or will Kagen be lost forever. I didnโt want to give spoilers but if you havenโt read this series pick it up and try it. I have never been disappointed in it. These vampires have values that sometimes it looks like we have lost in our own world. Their world is filled with duty to themselves and others, honor for what is right, love for their destiny and their families for eternity. You donโt mess with what they have vowed to protect. These books will make you feel every emotion, love, anger, sadness and sheer joy. I just donโt think a 5 star rating is high enough..

Loved Kagen and Arielle
Blood Father is the 6th book in The Blood Curse Series by Tessa Dawn and this time the couple is Kagen and Arielle Nightsong. Ever since Saber told Kagen and his brothers Marquis, Nathaniel and Nachari that their father Keitaro was taken as a slave through a portal to another dimension called Mhier by the lycans, Kagen and his brothers are determined to go through the portal to Mhier and bring back their blood father no matter the cost. Lucky for the Silivasi brothers they soon stumble upon Arielle Nightsong, a rebel healer and also the daughter of their father's heart not long after arriving in Mhier. She soon informs them that their father may be soon killed in the arena fighting Cain Armentieres, a alpha general of King Thane's as the opening act of King Thane's wife's public execution on Sunday. If the Silivasi brothers want to save their father, they'll have no choice but to team up with Arielle in order to save their father's life. However Kagen is baffled by his attraction to the beautiful rebel warrior and can't help but wonder why he's so attracted to her since he already checked her wrist and there was no sign of his constellation. Little does Kagen know that his blood moon Auriga appeared in Dark Moon Vale and since Napolean can't contact Kagen all Napolean can do is pray to Andromeda that Kagen is protected in Mhier and isn't punished for not knowing that Arielle Nightsong is his destiny. I loved this book and have been waiting for it ever since I finished Blood Redemption. I always wondered about Kagen and couldn't wait to read his story. I loved reading about Kagen when he was younger. He was nerdy as a child it just was so cute to read. I also always wondered why Kagen had his Dr. Jekyll and Hyde personality and we finally find out why he does. Poor Kagen! I loved Kagen and Arielle as a couple. Kagen was kind, charming and yet dangerous. Arielle was sweet, loyal and fierce. They made such a cute couple! I loved Nachari's fight with the spider! It was so funny! Ramsey and Tiffany's story comes out next. I can't wait! I give this 5 stars.

Not Enough
Another story that I read in two days because I couldnโt put it down. Iโm happy we found out why Kagan is Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde! I was also happy to see Saber finally becoming part of the Jadon family. The only negativeโฆdisappointing thing is that there wasnโt enough of the story focused on Arielle and Kagen. Their love story seemed rushed and glossed over. Arielle just seemed to accept that being Kagenโs destiny was her fate and that she owed it to Kagen to fulfill the curse. She didnโt seem to fall in love with him like the previous destinies have with their mates. There were no professions of love. Even Arielleโs decision to go forward with the conversion wasnโt based on her love for Kagan; it was because of a conversation she had with the father of her heart. Sadly, very disappointing for those of us who love Kagen. Lastly, there wasnโt a description of Kagenโs baby, except the color of his eyes. The details of his features were omitted. That was a first in the series.

Great Book.
The Blood Curse books just keep getting better, can not wait for the next one. Tessa Dawn makes the reader feel like they are a part of the book.I found it hard to put down, and I held my breath near the end just hoping they all made it back. Not many books have that affect on me, it's a must read, but I recommend starting from the first book [ Blood Destiny].

Great series
I just love this series, came across this author by accident but have devoured the books and just bought number 7. I just love the way all past characters are brought into the stories so we are able to see their on going story. This book tells how the brothers go to another world to rescue their father and in the process Kagen finds his mate. Plenty of action and romance and canโt wait to read more. Their father, Keitaro, comes across as an interesting character, be great to have a book for him finding another love.
