How to Garnish

The first line in Amazon's description is "How to Garnish packaged with tools." Sorry to say there were no tools. My wife bought this book years ago (from another seller - not on Amazon) and it included the tools. If you decide to purchase on line, verify with the seller that it comes with tools. Some of the criticisim I have seen mentions this is for beginners. According to my wife this is as much as most people will ever need. if you mastered everything this book offers you will have accomplished more then most. I give this book 4 stars for content but only 0 star for missing tools. Overall a three star purchase!

Good place to begin if you have no experience and want to learn. Some of the garnishes are a throwback to the 70s and early 80s. Not very highly detailed garnishes that we are accustomed to seeing at the high end places. More of the buffet pieces that we would see at the lower end or at a garden party.

Great book

The book was received and even though it was a new book, the pages became loose as soon as the book was opened. This was to be a present for my granddaughter who is studying culinary arts. It was obvious it was the binding.

Would Gladly purchase again!
