Engine Valve Spring Compressor Stem Seal Removal Tool for BMW VW Audi Mercedes

Worked great on my 12v 2.8l VR6. Saved me a lot of time and money to leave the cylinder head on for a spring and valve seal job!

This Vale Spring Kit could have been even better with a few improvements. My kit came complete with all the tools to do a professional valve stem seal replacement job. Keep in mind that this kit comes with quick connect fittings using the DN 7.5 style which is popular in Asia, Australia, Italy, and South America. My air compressor and hose uses the Milton or DN2.5 quick connect fittings, so my solution was to replace the one fitting on the air regulator end. Take caution when replacing the fittings in this kit as they are glued in place from the manufacturer. I had to slowly heat up the fitting so the plastic parts of the regulator (Body of regulator is Metal) would not melt. I then used yellow gas line PTFE thread sealant tape on my Milton fitting to restore the air tight seal on the regulator. My main gripe was I felt that the threads were not long enough for the spark plug hole on the main metal air tube assembly. I decided to attach/screw-on and glue an extension that came from my engine compression testing kit. This extension provided the adequate number of threads (just like a spark plug) and a thicker rubber gasket to securely hold the air tube assembly in place. I also used a small piece of rubber hose as a support collar for the metal air tube. I did not want to use the rope technique or use a valve spring removal tool that required a hammer blow. The solid bucket style cam shims and the tight clearances around the vale springs on my Toyota 2AZFE engine made this Vale Spring Removal Kit an essential tool for the job. I am happy with my kit, all the parts worked as intended, seems well made and put together, came in a nice blue case, and I wouldn’t have been able to replace all the vale stem seals without it. If this Kit came with more threads on the main metal Air tube assembly, and was supplied with some support collars of common sizes, and a foam inner cover to prevent the parts from moving during transport (I made one from my kit). Then this would be an awesome Valve Spring Kit and I would have given it 5 stars!! Even with some shortcomings I still recommend this kit and feel it provides great value.

I used this product to replace valve stem seals on a BMW N62B48 engine. They worked perfect.

Need better quality made really cheap material made by metals & not precision at all seem like by hand , not smooth out products a lot look like by hand poor craftman work let see how work out I come back report more, does work ok but really bad cheap material made off and u must pay around to see can it work and NO instruction come what so ever u must using your brain to figure it out to using it

Tool was ok, would have been fine if all parts were sent and pressure regulator worked. Customer support at Utmall said they were on holiday, so to call Amazon. Not very customer concerned.

The tool work as good as it can due to missing set screws and poor threads on the H rail that the tool should/can fit on. Casting was rough and the threads in the mount were bad. The mounting rod wouldn't fit due to rough molding and no final prep by the manufacturer. That being said it's still better than most out there. Forced to use the long air tube as the pivot point which works to a point.
