This thing is awesome for is price. Fit this one for my kid because he's broken every cheap big box store rc I've gotten him. I wanted something hobby grade, but kid friendly. This thing is a beast. Way mire capable than i expected. I ordered 2 extra batteries thinking the small one would die quicker, but it lasts almost a full hour. Crazy. Whether you're a beginner like him or more experienced with rc, you will enjoy this thing.

If you are already into the RC crawler scene, then you already know, I'll write this for those considering... I recently got into the "crawler" fun. My first purchase was the Traxxas High Trail, (cough) $700 later, after you buy the battery and charger not included. Yikes, I know but don't get me wrong, it is a very good looking and capable crawler, but $700 is a barrier to many people. But it gave me a particular perspective. The Danchee is surprisingly capable, has a feature that most RTR (ready to run) crawlers don't, specifically the ability to changes steering modes... With a click of a button on the controller (included) you can switch from 1. Front wheel steering 2. Front and back steer in the same direction (think crab) 3. Front and back steer different direction (think monster truck) 4. Rear wheel steering It is made by REDCAT, at least they put their name on it, and they have a pretty good reputation. Comes with battery and charger, albeit not top quality, but it works very well. I have yet to run the battery out. My longest stint was 25 mins. The tires are pretty tough, not foam filled but I have not seen them fold. It's actually good looking as well. Here's a list of things you should be aware of... It is made of plastic, but as long as you don't drop it off a cliff it will hold up. It is not fast. It's not gonna "rooster tail", but it moves pretty decent for a crawler. Upgrading the motors (there are 2, one on each axel) while possible will be a challenge, as they are enclosed in the axel housing. The servos don't have a lot of torque. This means if your tire is up against a rock, it may not be able to turn, but this is a factor in rigs triple the price range of the Danchee. Even the afore mentioned High Trail has issues. All that said, I love this thing. I have run it more than the High Trail lately. No regerts ;) If you want to get a good taste of the fun RC crawling can be, but don't want to drop half your rent money, this isn't a bad choice.

It’s a nice RC car that can go over most anything in it’s path it’s 4 wheel steering is nice to get around obstacles and trees that are in the way 4 wheel drive is great easy to operate and easy to control. It would make a great beginner RC crawler and can be upgraded pretty easily. As for upgrades it definitely needs some weight down low for better grip and stability. Would recommend for a beginner .

If you were looking for the ultimate RTR Rockcrawler, this is your purchase right here for you quality parts the motor the servo are awesome. It has rear steering into 110 scale so perfect for size. Their appearance is great. Overall this is just a perfect rock crawler.

Well tons of people have bought this crawler and many write a good reviewof it. I have to say i was extremely skeptical on this purchase of a near hobby grade motor on axle crawler. Especially at its current price point. For the price you will get one heck of a nice crawler. Its more hobby grade than youd expect. It is able to have parts replaced and upgraded to more durable materials. Even the 380 size brushed motors can be replaced by better motors. I find it to be highly worth the price asked. Its more capable than many current hobby class crawlers on the market at a third the price. But it is definitely shown me in a very short time that it can crawl like my more expensive crawlers from axial. And it usually can crawl the more difficult lines easier the first run. Very pleased overall with this crawler. Its durable and hasn't had any failure from falling of a rock or a steep hillside. So to me that was a big important ability about this crawler. And it comes with a small lithium 2 cell battery that gets you about 45 minutes of actual running time. Which is pretty nice to have. And a usb bala3 charger. For easy recharge at home or in a car. Get one for yourself and relax and enjoy it. Youll be glad you did!

Cool little truck. I wanted something to just play around with and this is exactly what I was looking for. Like many other RC enthusiast have pointed out, this is not a cheap Wally World toy but a real RC truck. I have flown RC airplanes and Helicopters for over 25 years but because of time and costs involved had to lay down the sticks. I didn't want a Go-Fast truck but something that would take some skill to go over various terrain. If that's what you want then for the money this truck is awesome. It's not going to do what a 800 truck can do but I've read where many hardcore RC rock climbers have one of these in their fleet. It's really fun to test your skills. Again, it is not designed for going fast but if you want to spend hours of fun with your buddies, kids, etc. then I highly recommend. It's not waterproof nor does it have brushless motors, although there are those who have upgraded theirs but it is still worth twice the money...enjoy

For the money this thing is great its very capable. I would definitely recommend for someone wanting to get into rc crawling

Value for money given the price scale on RC Cars. This thing will climb a great deal more than you first expect if you are new to the RC world. Was blown away at the agility and ability of this mighty little beast. Designed for rock crawling at an affordable price, Danchee / Redcat, you guys kicked this one right out of the park. Awesome fun for all ages, as I'm 60 and love it because I'm a car guy. Buy, Drive, Enjoy.! I Did.!
