Ok, so I'm in love!!! I bought these for a bohemian/hippie artist friend but when they arrived, I decided I just could not let them go. They are going to be my Christmas Cards this year! They don't strike you as inherently holiday, but I love them for alternative holiday cards! They have a mosaic stained glass feel, but with a tribal vibe to them. So they could suit someone very traditional, or someone earthy, or even a lover of global items. So versatile. And the appeal for me is the unique square shape. I collect unique stationary, and I will be buying more of this set for myself and as a gift. A couple things to keep in mind. The package isn't nicely boxed, it's clear plastic. But it's still nice enough for a gift. I would probably transfer it out of the original packaging just because the cards are so much better quality than the packaging would let on. The cards are smaller than I thought they would be. Double check the dimensions if that's important to you. I only got 2 of the prints. Is that important to me? No, not really. They are semi-gloss finish, but I honestly don't mind because the images are printed nicely and the cardstock is good. The envelopes are basic white, thin copy paper quality. But they work fine. It's the inside that counts, right? That's me nit-picking just because I'm a stationary/notecard person, but this is an awesome set especially for this price. I'm so happy with my new notecards. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't like them.

Another fantastic card design from "The Best Card Company! This particular design has a printed tab that extends beyond the cover. This allows the reader to open the card, read the text and still have a memory of the great design on the front of the stationery since it is shown on the border. Yes, the price is somewhat of a premium over other boxed card sets, but I personally find the slightly higher price to be more than an acceptable trade for getting a superior product. Highly recommended.

Most of my disappointment is my own fault. The size is oddly small--not the usual card size. And although I loved the tile design on screen, it was less impressive in hand. I have ordered a floral card from this company and it was beautiful. Don't know why but the tile colors in hand were less appealing and kind of garish--just my personal response and had to do with all the gold in the print. Online the gold seemed muted and in person it was way too much yellow/gold. Be sure to check sizing before ordering and be aware that the gold is full on shiny gold.

I like these blank cards. I use them for everything, sympathy, congrats, happy bday!

These are just okay cards. They cardstock is regular stock but the print quality lacks the details depicted by the stock photos (which I suspect are pictures with the contrast and structure aspects increased). I bought these as stocking stuffer for my mom who loves stationary. They aren't very high-quality. I'll still put them in her Christmas stocking, but will need to continue to look for higher end stationary. I would not have paid the price if I'd seen them first hand.

I was pleased with this beautiful collection of notecards. A bargain for me, since I send so many notes on a regular basis. Cudo's to the Art by Ruth Bush! CEF
