I wanted to get something different for my daughter for her 6th birthday and came across this game. She's into puzzles, so I figured a game like this would be right up her alley. At the birthday party I started to feel a little ashamed as I watched her open all of these expensive and elaborate gifts. I started doubting myself and figured she wouldn't even give it a 2nd look once we got home. I was dead wrong! Out of all of the gifts she received for her birthday, this is the one she's played with the most. She loves trying to figure out the puzzles and even making her own designs. It just goes to show that you don't need to spend a lot of money to provide great entertainment (along with a great learning game). I'm very happy with my purchase and I've enjoyed spending the time building some of the puzzles together with my daughter. My daughter is 6 and a lot of the puzzles are difficult for her, but she still enjoys it. If your child is younger than 5 it may take a while before they really get into it. I still think they'd enjoy playing with the random pieces to build their own structures. Hell, I'm 31 years old and I'm not even halfway through the puzzle book and I'm having trouble figuring some of these out! It definitely provides entertainment for all ages!

I bought Equilibrio for my son's 9th Birthday. He loves building towers, and would often just create things from our jenga blocks we have. So when I saw this, I thought it would be perfect for him. The first couple of structures in the book seem like they are easy, and my son would brag, and tell me he could build anything! However, as we progressed through the structures, it becomes clear that there is not just a balance issue going on - but there is a certain amont of strategy to how you place the blocks, and in which order. This game is excellent for hand-eye co-ordination, as well as problem-solving strategies, and when you turn it into a competition, like we did, it becomes a huge amount of fun! I also like the idea of just buying the other books for the other games they produce, as they can all be played with the same blocks. I recommend this game highly, for single player fun and family competitions - and all achieved without having to buy or replace a single battery!

This game is excellent for hands on learning of 3D shapes. Puzzle type game with high quality pieces. My 9 year old greatly enjoys playing this as part of our homeschool.

The game is fine, but what surprised me is how small the game pieces were. You get a large box, but it must be 75% empty space. I just picture something more substantial.

I got this for my son's 6th birthday after he discovered it at our local library. He would play with it every week, and I couldn't understand what the big deal was with the little container of orange blocks. Then I realized they weren't just blocks... but a puzzle of sorts. He loves to go through the comprehensive booklet that contains the block "puzzles," but also put together his own creations. His two-year-old sister loves to play with the blocks, too, but of course she's not as savvy as her big brother, putting them together. I love that this is an open-ended toy to provide hours of enjoyment, and it's not a huge set so it doesn't take up a lot of room. I'm curious about some of the other sets in this series... but gather that they all contain the same or similar blocks? If you have a child who is into building things (think LEGOs, blocks, trains, etc.) then he/she will absolutely love this.

This is a great game for kids as it gives them different levels to challenge themselves with. They follow the image in the book and try to construct it. Many levels to work with. It's the same pieces as Equilibrio though, so just find the book for both and you can use the same set for both games. Your child may need more patience for the harder levels.

My 7 year old does these things with no problem. It teaches him dexterity while problem solving to get these things to be perfectly placed in order to balance. My husband still can't figure it out..but it's not his toy so that's ok. This is a brilliant gift for kids who like to build things with Legos or magnetic tiles. It's a 3d building model. They can create their own things or try and build the structures that come in the book.

my kids love this game.. it is very useful for their 3 dimension recognition and problem solving.. some of the challenges are a bit difficult, but still quite fun.. my kids can sit for hours to solve the challenges!

Amazing product both quality and concept. The difficulty level keeps increasing.It comes with a book on which v have to solve the puzzle. Really impressed.

Unser 5-jähriger Sohn ist genauso begeistert dabei wie seine Eltern. Der Schwierigkeitsgerade geht von relativ leicht bis wirklich sehr knifflig und auch für Erwachsene anspruchsvoll, aber lösbar. Die Türme sind in 6 Schwierigkeitsgrade eingeteilt. Unser 5-jähriger hat es bisher in den 4. Schwierigkeitsgrad geschafft und ist immer noch hochmotiviert. Simples, aber tolles Konzept, das motiviert und anregt.
