Zacro 151pcs Watch Repair Tool Kit

I noted the negative reviews and did not have high expectations. What arrived, for £17, was, I thought, pretty good. OK, I have not used all the tools, but the ones I did use were fine. Timpsons was the only thing open in lockdown to get a replacement battery for my TAG and they wanted £30! (Thieving bas**ds!) I normally pay about £8, which I consider quite expensive for a 50p battery. Replacing the battery, using the "back unscrew device" from the kit was simple. The watch holder supplied is excellent, and the tweezers and pin pushers are OK. I have no complaints at this stage and 1 more replacement and I have got my costs back. Time will tell if all the tools last, but I'm happy right now. Oh!, and the batteries I bought were the exact brand that the jeweller used, so the "cheap battery" argument will not work either!

So easy to use - great quality tools. I had a few watches to sort out (4 battery replacements/1-taking links out)...managed to do it all myself...ordered the batteries on my own ..saved on my overall costs - literally have no use to ever pay anyone to do this for me ever again! Have nothing negative to comment on - come in a nice zipped pouch - very professional feel...glad I went with this over the 'cheaper' ones. You get what you pay for. Very impressed.

Great kit. The tool for removing a watch with a screw on back is a bit fiddly but once set to the correct diameter it works a treat. The spare spring loaded pins of various lengths are a real bonus. I have only found a problem with the pin extractor, the screw up table is wobbly and the wrong height for my links.

Great value kit. The stuff doesn’t ooze quality but it doesn’t feel terrible either. I own lots of watches and some of them are battery powered. When you see how cheep multipacks of battery’s are on here, it only takes 3 or so battery changes at your local watch shop for this kit to pay for itself. I’ve used the tweezers, watch back adjustable jaws, strap pin tool, and 2 of the screwdrivers. I do not anticipate using the rest of the tools but even this usage still makes it worthwhile.

I was pleasantly surprised at the comprehensive collection of tools in this set, easy to use and I straight away managed to replace a couple of watch batteries that had defeated me before. Quality seems very good and an amazing price considering the number of items included.

amazing! I like my watches. In the short time I have had this I have repaired my seiko kinetic watch and replaced the batteries in 6 of my watches and 3 of my wife's. My wife had taken her watches to all the watch repairers / jewellers in town, they said the batteries couldn't be replaced and advised her to throw 2 of them away (they weren't cheap watches!). Ordered batteries on-line (they are very cheap, even for quality brands) In no time at all all my wife's watches were running. This little kit is by no means high quality and a tradesman would probably not give it any thought; but it is amazing. It has already paid for itself twice over. it is brilliant!!!

You can do pretty much everything with this set, but, if you find yourself doing a lot of tinkering you may want to consider some higher quality tools.

The Crescent to remove the watch backs is flexible but a bit floppy, undid my Sea Master easily enough and I was right … I thought I saw the jewellery assistant handle my last battery swap with her naked fingers - corroded battery … much happier to do changes myself and send it away every few years to the pros Kit could use a press to refasten covers that press rather than screw on.
