It Works Fantastic & Should Last Uou A Lifetime.- WELL DONE MATRIX PRECISION PARTS !
Work Awesome and I don't believe that I could have removed my old sight that had been on the barrel for 60 years and a number of those years being corroded in place, you can either waste several hours or more trying to remove these olds SKS sights and achieve Zero or maybe damage your barrel and or your sight and still achieve absolutely Zero... I removed a sight off a corroded barrel but needed the use of a vise to make it a whole lot easier and without damaging anything, even sights that aren't corroded are really hard to get removed without this sight tool, if I hadn't of bought this I would still be wasting my time trying.. Pay attention on the placement of this tool, it works better if you put it on a certain way, it will be pretty obvious what I'm talking about once you go to use it , don't just assume that you can put it on any way that it will go on and expect it to be on the best way, I watched a YouTube Video, The directions may have made what I was talking about crystal clear But I misplaced my directions and ran to YouTube instead of spending a lot of time looking for papers.. and really it should be pretty obvious how this goes on, the right way and the wrong way and that is about it. I bet this could come in handy on pulling a few other items apart as well. . It is made so strong that it should literally last you a lifetime, and if you only use it once and never again you can still resell it and get the largest part of your investment back. I would hesitate to recommend this product and I am not usually the wasteful type with my hard earned money.

Great Product, Service and Shipping!!
Wow! I've never felt "Blown Away" by anyone's service or delivery times, til now! Matrix Prescision Parts is so amazing! I had questions and I didn't have to write back to get answers even more than I'd asked for. The customer service is great to deal with, I'm looking forward to doing more business with them on my 80% builds! They've got a nice looking 1911 80% jig I'm going to purchase next! Let y'all know how it is too! The tool is very well made, nice weight to it, you know you're holding onto a sturdy tool. The entire piece has a black coating on it which has held up even after being whacked a time or 3 with a dead blow hammer, I've not got a chip or scratch on mine yet. Worked like a charm. I did spray the ends of the site piece to loosen 70 years of gunk using PB Blaster. I used a toque bar for leverage and bam! It was off! Great Product, great service, fast Shipping! Thanks Matrix!

As advertised, should make different model for bayonet.
I'm pretty sure if it was simply because I have the yugo with the bayonet, also if you have a grenade launcher muzzle that will have to be removed in order for this to work, but it barely fit and didn't line up until it was forced into place. Had to pound it onto the sight. Had me pretty worried. If you've got a regular sks I'm sure this works amazingly. It did manage to get me front sight off though. So can't complain too much.

This thing is AWESOME!
This turned what I thought was going to be a 2 hour battle with a hammer, torch and a lot of profanity into a 5 minute job. My SKS came with a grenade launcher so I did not use the block that came with the tool. I hooked it on the first ridge of the sight and started cranking. As I tried to remove it my barrel was twisting and I didn’t like it so i put the tool itself in a vice holding the flat sides. This kept the barrel from twisting but the front sight was holding on like a baby holding onto their mother the first time she tried to get them to sit on Santa’s lap. If your not familiar with this process it takes a natural disaster, earth quake, and an act of god to break their grip. I was cranking hard and it was coming slowly but I stopped and thought. The nut on the end looked like a very common lug nut size. It in fact is the exact size of a lug nut so I got my handy dandy cordless impact wrench and put it on mid power. I pulled the trigger and the sight held tight. I figured “what do I have to loose” and cranked the power of the impact all the way up then pulled the trigger. The sight started moving immediately and in a matter of about 30 seconds the sight was off with no damage to the barrel. The cost of this tool was well worth not having my wife coming into my shop asking me who I am in the midst of assaulting. In short this thing was AWESOME and made a half impossible job easy.

If you are going to take the front sight off of an SKS, you need to have one of these! Works like a charm.

The correct tool for the job
I tried making a jig to do the job (I am not a metal smith) and failed. The local gun smith wanted more than the tool cost so I decided buy the toll and give it a try. Perfect. Less than 5 minutes to complete the task and I was taking my time.

Works like a charm
Works like a charm! Knock out the pins and remove your compensator (it's threaded on), attach this to the sights and off they come! Not the most used, but when you need it this baby does the job
