I bought this product, K25 similar product, Onzen similar product. I have used all of these for 2-3 years. My thoughts over time of these 3 products: 1) this product: Thinner and less soft then both Onzen and K25 products. Over use and washings, this product still looks new, and is actually softer than it was when new. This is now my choice as the best towel for me. 2) Onzen: Softer, but much more delicate. Over time snags appear in fabric, all of these towels are still useable, but I would guess I will get much less wear out of the Onzen than the Nutrl home towel. 3) K25: Was my favorite originally. As soft as Onzen, but had a trimmed edge on all 4 sides, and a tag to hand towel on a peg. This towel is great, fluffy, and soft, but I am concerned about lifespan. Over 2 years of use, I now prefer the nutrl home towel to this towel due to wear issues.

Ok talk about absorbent!!! This little towel will blow your mind I thought at first there was no way this cloth was going to dry me after a shower, I have hair down to my tailbone and lots of it so I usually need two towels but not with this towel! You can practically see through these towels which would have been something I wasn't even going to try but they are so soft and I mean I want clothes made out of this material. I was scared to wash them because the material is so fine I was sure they would shrink but they are still the same size, shape, and seriously so soft! I don't normally do soft towels I feel like the waffle texture is the best for towels but thats hardly ever soft. After my shower I dry off normal and then wrap up my hair and it practically sucks the water out of my hair, never has my hair dried so fast out of a shower. Then you would expect the towel to take a while to dry because it is now soaked but no the thinness of the towel makes it dry in just a few hours (this is impressive to me because my last towels took a solid day) I wanted to wait on this review because I felt like I needed time with my new towels to make sure it held true and now 2 months later I am still obsessed and want to recommend them to all of my friends! No gross musty smell because they dry so fast and you will too!!!!

I'm writing a review after using this towel for about a month, and I'm happy with it. I was specifically seeking a quick-drying bath towel that I could use for drying myself off efficiently, and not for coziness / warmth, and this fits the bill perfectly. It has a unique look and feel - soft like a tee-shirt woven into a deeply waffled texture - hard to explain! If you are looking for a big fluffy terry-type towel, this is definitely not the right one for you! But if like me you want a thinner towel for efficient drying off that dries quickly after use when hung on a towel bar, I recommend this towel. I took off one star because I think it is just a bit too high of a price, but even that would not prevent me from purchasing another one if needed.

Good product. Absorbs okay and lightweight but very thin. I use as a travel towel, as it folds compact.

I have been using this towel for about 2 weeks now and I’m really liking it. I don’t like to own a lot of towels I just like to have one for myself, I use it for a week and a wash it. I was using a norwex bath towel for a long time but I’m starting to have issues with it stinking. So I was thinking it’s time for a replacement. I came across this in my search. I was drawn to the fact that it is 100% cotton and waffle weave. So far the absorbency is great. It’s a little different of a feel so at first I thought that it wasn’t working right, but it is. When I’m done it feels really really wet (more so than a traditional bath towel would) so I was worried about it smelling and not drying between showers. But it had no problem. The only 2 cons I would say is it’s not a super soft fluffy towel, it has a different feel to it but it super nice and that the price is a little more than I wanted to spend. But if you are like me and you only need the one it’s worth the extra money. I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

You may as well check in to a cheap motel and steal their flimsy white towels. These towels are so thin that you might thin you are drying off with a paper towel. Besides being thin, they are flimsy. I only bought these because of the reviews from other users and I could not be more disappointed in these towels. These are worse than the cheap towel I bought at a discount mart here in town when I was desperate. If you are looking for amazing waffle towels, order them from Onsen. The Onsen towels are amazing and worth every penny of their hefty price. I tried to order them, but they do not ship to Taiwan where I live. These towels will now become the cheap towels I reserve for guests and I am not even sure I would do that to a guest!

Please bring these back!!! We love them so much that I went to purchase more and was upset to find they’re gone! Settled on a similar option and they’re extremely inferior so I can confirm that these are the best. Lightweight, quick drying, don’t shrink, don’t smell, the perfect size, texture, and color.

I ordered a few of these and a few ONSEN towels during a linen closet update. About 1-1.5 years in, I prefer Nutrl To ONSEN by far. My towels are washed at least every 7 days, often more frequently. My towels are washed by a cleaning team that has often left wet towels in the washing machine, but the whole premise if ONSEN is resistance to exactly this behavior. It just does not hold as true for ONSEN as Nutrl. My Nutrl towels are softer and better resist mildew smells when on fortunately mistreated. My ONSEN towels often emerge from the wash and dryer with a mildew smell. Not so for the Nutrl towels. I’m here to replace the ONSEN sets I ordered and to add more for our guest room. Please note these are fairly thin waffle weave towels. They DO NOT feel like super soft blanket like towels. The feel is utterly different. They remove water very well but don’t wrap you in a warm hug at all. Thus these are not ideal for folks seeking to replicate an American hotel experience. If you prefer a thinner, easy wash towel, I recommend this brand. If you want to be wrapped in a fluffy blanket after bathing, keep shopping.
