There are 4 wires from transformer. No guidance on how to connect to get correct phasing

Fun little board. It starts to work reasonably nicely at 1.5v draws ~700mA. At 2.2v 1.7A. If you look carefully at the silkscreen they used thick and thin lines to depict the primary coils.

I like the kit, but after building and on the first test you can see the windings arcing and fail. Let's hope the second transformer is better quality.

Poor quality control. On one of the two, the secondary winding on the HV transformer was visibly broken (wire sticking out as per picture).

No instructions, it’s basically still in the bag it came in.

I haven’t used this product yet as it never came with instructions, very disappointing

Good value for money

Bought this item more for the transformer than anything else for a project, good little kit and has a good output. Only thing stopping me giving five stars is the transistor is unidentified, making it difficult to reuse it in different projects but not overly important. Overall very happy with what I got here and also good customer communication from the seller.

Works. Zero problems with assembly and use

Wilde met deze schakeling een ion-generator bouwen .... Dat werkt goed !... Doch als je de voedingsspanning te hoog opvoerd (>2,5V 700mA ) gaat het mis . Er vind dan doorslag en vonkoverslag plaats tussen diverse onderdelen van deze schakeling. Schakeling is technisch goed ontworpen doch een (siliconen) isolatie schermpje tussen transistor-koelplaatje en hoogspannings-spoel is aan te bevelen ter voorkoming van eventuele vonkoverslag.

No es fiable, el circuito resultante es de baja calidad. EN una primera compra, monté los dos kits y uno funcionó bien, el otro dejó de funcionar al cabo de pocas pruebas por razones que desconozco (puesto que el transistor se calienta mucho pensé que era eso, pero al desoldarlo y probarlo comprobé que funciona bien). As í que compré otro kit puesto que quería tener varios generadores, y del segunod kit no me llegó a funcionar ninguno. Aún no sé porqué no funcionan, los transistores están bien, todas las soldaduras son correctas y las conexiones están bien hechas y comprobados, el circuito consume , a 3.7V la misma corriente que el que sí funciona, pero no se generan arco. Así que realmente sólo me funciona 1 kit de 4. Nada recomendable.

Bien faire attention a relier les fils petit et gros au milieux du transfo, ce n'est pas très bien expliquer. Sinon appareil fonctionnel
