For a good audio system the best so far product. Simple to use it (keep tight closed with the metal cup otherwise the liquid will be evaporated - VERY VERY VOLATILE!!).After a good cleaning the sound is much more dynamic with better flow and (subjectively ??) louder.I don't know for how long that sound will be such alive. I hope the cleaning intervals to be less than 6 months.Anyway very good product and the price is decent. I will buy it again.

This is the best audio interconnects cleaner. Used sparingly to clean RCA and speaker plugs, sockets and electrical plugs it can show dramatic improvements. However it is eye-wateringly expensive and evaporates very quickly. So use carefully and replace the screw cap quickly

My hi-fi system was due an overhaul so I ran a search for a suitable product to clean the input/output terminals with. Kontak seemed to be worth a try. Expensive , but it really does a great job. Sound improvement was noticeable

Depending if your contacts are clean already, and how revealing your system is, the results will vary. I regularly clean all contacts with Brasso wadding, which when done results in better sound quality and visually the metal contacts look clean and shiny. Only an abrasive cleaner will do this. For hard to get to areas, such as phono plugs, sockets and speaker terminals etc, Kontak will be more effective. Bearing in mind my cleaning regime, the improvement to my system's sound was minimal if at all. So in conclusion, if you have never cleaned your contacts, including AC plug terminals, you will no doubt hear an improvement in sound quality, worth trying then, but bear in mind my comments.

Excellent product made a big difference

This may seem expensive but used to clean ALL connections in a system really brings music to life. Highly recommended as a must have.

The plastic bottle this comes in now was a complete surprise. It is cheap, nasty, easily toppled, and LEAKS. A small percentage evaporated away in a few days. Luckily I still had to hand the old, sturdy, wonderfully stable, solid glass bottle this used to come in from a previous purchase. However, one positive point, in decanting I noticed that the new bottle contains slightly more than the old - recognition of evaporation perhaps?
