I've taken various different Magnesium Glycinate supplements, most recently NOW brand and Dr's Best. I noticed some difference from NOW at higher dosages and it appeared to work for my mood, cognition, and sleep to a small extent. But it wasn't anything life changing and I eventually gave up on magnesium all together, even though I was sure I had a deficiency... I decided to give it a go again recently when I started getting muscle cramps/twitches, severe and frequent headaches, mood changes, and a building pressure sensation in my head. As I had bought another one of NootropicDepot's products, their Sarcosine formula, and had very good results with the products and was pleased with their overall professionalism and certainly their willingness to do in-house purity testing, and will actually share their lab results unlike most companies, I wanted to give their Magnesium Glycinate a try. I took 800mg before bed... and the next day woke up feeling fantastic. It was the best sleep I'd gotten in probably a year. After I woke up, I definitely felt more energetic and was able to get up out of bed faster than I normally would be able to (generally I'd procrastinate for way too long), and my head pressure was certainly diminished. A while after taking this supplement, and the effects are still extremely noticeable. I'm feeling better than I have all year. It will take consistent use of this product to see if the symptoms will totally go away (that's assuming it's even a magnesium deficiency to begin with, although I suspect it is). I'll modify my review here in a few months after use to give a more updated response, but so far I am extremely happy with the quality of product NootropicsDepot has provided to me.
