Any recommendation for a funnel for transferring to the fresh water fill tank?

I use water from a local water fresh water shop. I take either these containers in and they fill them up for me or I use other clean containers and buy the water and simply pour it in the Scepter containers later. I do use a special hose made for filling up camper/RV water tanks. It is a water hose but uses BPA/non-toxic materials that will not contaminate or add distasteful flavor to the water.

Should I wash these after receiving them, or is it okay to just start filling them with water? I intend to use it as drinking water

I use mine for drinking water, too, and that's what they are intended for. Because manufacturing processes can have chemical residue, and because I didn't know what sort of cleaning was performed by the manufacturer, I chose to be safe rather than sorry, and did wash mine with a mild Clorox solution and then with dish soap and hot water. However, they arrived looking very clean and didn't have an odor, so they may be OK with no cleaning. Final answer: better safe than sorry.

Where are these made? China?

If they are true Scepter, they are made in Canada and of very good (mil spec) quality.
