La Cafetiere Tea Swizzle, Stainless Steel

This simple device is a winner! We can buy many different teas and very quickly achieve the visual strength we want with the Swizzler. We are giving them as gifts this year to friends.

ProsThese look great.There is a heavy stainless base and perforated basket.Nice idea to have the infuser also be the scoop.ConsThe basket and scoop rely upon a friction fit to stay in place... and they stay in place. When I first got these, I thought i would break them when i tried to pull it apart.The seam of the basket is poorly considered.Bottom LineFor a product which appears to cater to a design conscious crowd, I would expect a higher order of detailing.

Without a doubt, the best thing I have used for loose tea. Little to no tea escapes the strainer, even with the finest tea; and it is easy to use and to clean.

I liked the concept of this device: that it both holds the tea and allows you to stir, mixing in honey, sugar or cream. It also makes for easy clean up and composting if you don't overload it. Also it is better suited for fine teas, bigger leaves tend to make for harder clean up and less dissolution. It is geared toward an 8-10 oz cup of tea, larger cups would end up not very strong. It does seems to take a little longer to steep.Over all I do like the design and using it!

It has the perfect length of handle. Nice design.Be sure to wash it very well before using it, as it has some kind of manufacturing residue on it.

These are great. I had received one and loved it so much that I bought 2 more. Gives me the right amount of tea, easy to use, and easy to clean.

Great product, but very small and difficult to clean.

Too small for loose leaf.Holes too large for fine cut.Looks nice on the shelf.
