Excellent Chrome Pump, good price, fast shipping
This pump works as advertised and was easy to install after I transferred my fittings and bracket from my old pump. However, the pulley key was too large for my "non-stock" pulley, but the old key worked fine. So, don't discard the old pump, fittings, key until you dry fit the new pump. I did adjust the low pressure tube via a slight bend. Otherwise, installation to my 68 Camaro/383/Power Steering was accomplished without any issues. The entire pump is chrome so it looks nice in the engine bay! Thanks A-Team Performance.

So far so good BUT?!?!?!?
If you are using this on a CHEVY front end then it should not be an issue BUT if you are using this on a hot rod that has a Mustang 2 front end DO consider that you MIGHT have to have a pressure reducer as the cheveys use around 1200 pro and the ford use about 800 psi. There is no info as to what the psi output is on this but do use caution. Spec sheet ( there isnt any) does not indicate anything about the gpm/ psi output and A- Team dpes NOT indicate anywhere in the specs or when i had a reply from them about psi rating nor gpm flow. Sooo you have to assume that is is the 1200 psi output and not the 800 that Ford uses. AGAIn use caution if you are a hot rodder and have a mustang rack & pinion and want to use this on your rod.

Doesn't fit and shaft is bent?
So I love how this thing looks goes well with my engine but the shaft is bent (can see in the video) and it just straight up doesn't bolt up to my sbc, ls1, or vortec. I have done so much work to get this thing to line up with my damn front pullys only to find out the shaft is bent! I know it's not the pully (which I had to put on backwards because this thing doesn't even line up ps it still spins sideways when on correctly) because my pully works fine on the 72 steering pump I have... also I've never seen a gm vehicle with a key way on the shaft but maybe that's just me? All 6 of the v8 gms I've owned are press fit but I'm not really worried about that as much as the cap having some kind of stuck on crud that I can't get off with any kind of scrubbing or soap. All in all I wish I could just say yeah I struggles but you can make it work but that's just not the case here... perhaps I got the wrong pump?

Fit 1967 Camaro and no leaks!
Worked on my 1967 Camaro with a sbc and had no leaks. Just make sure you have the right hoses, does not come with the o ring to flare insert to adapt the valve for a flared hose. The reservoir seems to be clocked a little bit to the passenger side compared to my original pump which was actually a good thing for my fitment. I had purchased a lower flow after market valve to help with the super light steering feel but didn’t use it because the valve that came with this pump seems to be the lower flow valve already.

Fittings that fit
I hesitated to give this five stars. The reason I did is that it is a very nice pump. Very nice finish and solid part. The reason I didn't what to leave 5 stars is that the listing states the outlet fitting is 5/8. It's not. It's M16-1.5 O-ring fitting. Not a big deal but it requires additional purchase of the fitting and of course I bought the 5/8 first.

Great fit better than the original

The actual power steering pump worked out great but the filler cap was a little disappointing as the chrome cap fell off the dip stick and for the money I expected the whole unit to stay together a whole lot better than what it did. Just a suggestion, I think that tape should be put on the shaft for the pulley to keep the key in place rather than an elastic as that to fell out, I had to search for that to and I’m sure you know the key is not very big, like looking for a needle in a hay stack, again just a suggestion.

The back of the pump swelled up and started to leak at first start up on new motor build. Very disappointed. Will try to get refund.
