How is this different then general quercetin?

Thorne's Quercetin Phytosome utilizes the advanced technology of phytosome complexes. Phytosome complexes are created by a patented process that binds a designated botanical extract to a phospholipid. Phospholipids are readily absorbed key components of cell membranes, and when complexed with a botanical, the phospholipid increases the absorbability of the botanical to which it is combined. In Thorne’s Quercetin Phytosome, quercetin is combined with plant-based phospholipids to create a phytosome complex that significantly enhances the absorption of the quercetin through the cell membrane, compared to quercetin by itself.

What is the standardized quercetin phytosome content of thorne quercetin phytosome from flower extract?

I emailed Thorne and this was their reply: It is approximately 40% quercetin, so the product contains approximately 100mg of quercetin. Quercetin phytosome demonstrates 20x absorption vs standard quercetin in clinical studies.

Is the L-leucine derived from corn? Is this product free of corn?

The leucine is derived from duck feathers, which are not pulled from the ducks but collected as they fall out. None of Thorne’s finished products contain corn, however, occasionally a product might contain an ingredient derived from corn. These are purified and considered non-allergenic. The quercetin in Thorne's Quercetin Phytosome supplement is derived from Saphora japonica, which is a plant. The phospholipid complex is derived from sunflower.

What Color is the powder suppose to be?

The powder in the capsules of Thorne’s Quercetin Phytosome can vary in color from pale yellow to orange, and can sometimes have a speckled or slightly mottled appearance.

Life Changing?

I'm a long-perm consumer of anti-depressant and anti-enxiety meds. This Thorne product appears to have have given me the boost that prescription meds cannot match. Such has been the positive change in the six weeks since I began taking it, I am reluctant to put it all down to Quercetin, but I haven't had a single bad day since starting them. Before this, I rarely had a good day. I will update in a few months.
