I couldn’t be happier with this necklace — it looks stunning and feels like a much more expensive piece than it actually is. From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed with the quality. The solid 925 sterling silver has a beautiful shine and weight to it, and the finish feels very well made rather than fragile or cheap. What really surprised me was the price. For a solid Italian made sterling silver chain like this, I honestly expected to pay a lot more — it almost seems too good to be true given how high-quality it feels. Placed on the scale this necklace only weighs 9 grams for being 5mm wide and 18 inches long. This chain is very light. The individual links are barely 1mm thick by 5mm wide feeling very paper thin. This chain could easily be considered dainty with how it feels even though it attempts to appear bulky. I don't think this chain looks bulky or weighty at all. I can say that because of it's thinness and sleekness, it really lays on the skin nicely. It contours the wearers neck very nicely unlike bulkier chains. Overall this chain seems like very nice quality like all Miabella products I've encountered so far and I already own more than a dozen easily. This is definitely not one of their best value for money spent pieces but it's not one of their worst value pieces either. If you want bulk look with a sleek light feel this would be a good fit. For perspective, Miabella also has a 2mm thin ball chain that still weighs over 8 grams at 22 inches long. Which was surprisingly weighty for how small and thin it appeared.

It’s okay it fit a little smaller on my boyfriend than I thought it would despite measuring him. It looks great though. I’ve purchased a bracelet for him a year ago and it also has stood the test of time and still looks really good so I’m hoping the necklace will as well.

10 grams of silver for $70 🤷‍♂️ oz of silver is currently $72. 10 grams is valued at $20 today. $40 would be a fair price. Very thin for even 5mm. Appearances look great. The craftsmanship is 50/50 judging by the clasp and loop welds. Keeping in mind the markup from reputable dealers you’re gonna pay a lot more I suppose. my friend bought a 20 inch 6 mm that weighed 2 ounces for $150 from a pawnshop when silver was at $70 per ounce. Guess what I’m trying to say is for paying $70 for this chain. It should’ve weighed no less than half an ounce not 10 g.

As a man I can only recommend a minimum width of 5mm for men. The color seems perfectly muted to me, yet it shines like sterling silver should. The chain is a bit on the lighter side but when combined with a charm or pendant the overall weight is comfortable. I appreciate the functionality, as chain lengths are available to where I can easily slip the chain over my head if desired. I was so impressed with the length I ordered at 26” that I ordered an additional chain at 30”. I consider the chains to be a fair price for what is received, and it won’t hurt much if it is ever misplaced. IMO a great purchase.
