AWESOME cookware. Buy 2 grippers if you don't like the included handle.
Wow! The other reviewers are correct. These pots are GREAT quality even at twice the price. They compare favorably to my Cuisinart set. The stainless steel is thick and these pots will last many years. They are nicely cladded at the bottoms and distribute heat evenly. To save some room in my crowded cabinet, I may just retire my bulky pots with their own unruly handles and just use this nesting set for everyday use. The grooves in the universal lid fit the 1, 2 & 3 quart pots whereas the pan makes a nice dome lid for the 4 quart pot. Note, when used as a lid for the 4 quart pot, either attach the handle to the pan BEFORE you turn on the stove or else use oven mitts to remove the handle-less pan. It is nearly impossible to attach the handle when the pan is upside down. That brings me to my next point. The single removable handle is somewhat difficult to use but well-made. To put on the handle, keep it vertically and deftly hook the J shaped hook to the side connector of the pot. Then, carefully so as not to wiggle the J hook out of the side connector, press the button of the handle upward and slowly rotate the handle 90 degrees. If connected properly (you'll hear/feel a click), the handle is quite strong and can handle the weight of a full 3 quart pot with minimal flex. For my first try with a 2-burner camping stove, I attached the handle to the frying pan and used the 1 quart pot (without a handle) to boil water at the same time. When the water boiled, it was challenging to disengage the handle from the pan (pull the nob toward you and rotate the handle 90 degrees upward and attach it to the boiling pot since both pans and pots were hot and I could not clutch either to simplify the task. I ended up using a Trangia brand pot gripper which quickly clamps to the rolled edge of the pot to without needing to hook anything to the connector. Given this experience, I do recommend you get at least 1 pot gripper to quickly grab a pot since unclipping the Stansport handle may prove to be difficult when the pots & pans are hot. So, here's my strategy in using these pots when using a 2 burner camping stove. Always put on the pot handle on the heaviest pot to be used (in my case the pan) and keep it on for the duration of the cooking. Then, have the pot gripper on stand-by for the smaller pot so I can quickly use it to clamp the pot and lift it. The Trangia pot gripper did just as fine of a job as the included Stansport handle in safely & securely lifting the pots. Rather than foregoing this excellent set of pots due to the somewhat challenging handle, either buy 1 or two pot grippers (depending on how much you dislike the included handle) and you will have a very nice set of cookware for around 70 or less. Even at that price, it's still an awesome deal. (For those who wants to be frugal, the Open Country pot grippers are a bit more affordable at almost half the price of the Trangia.) Lastly, when I was researching this set, I wondered why I would need so many different size pots. One reviewer mentioned using some of the pots as mixing bowls. What an excellent idea for a nesting set that would not take up any more room with 1 or 3 pots! In addition, you can also use the larger pots, the 3 & 4 quart ones as as makeshift sinks for washing dishes or scrap bowls for garbage. Now, the number of pots in the set is just perfect for multi-use! I LOVE this set and recommend for everyone whether you use it for camping or daily use!

Great pan set, wish it had 2 handles
Recently used this on a multi-day camping trip. As many have said, the pans are high quality and stack nicely. I was able to conserve a lot of space by replacing multiple pots and pans with this tight, compact, neat set. This made a big difference since we were in a small car carrying a lot of stuff. There is no latch to keep the lid on during transport, so if you want them to stay together securely, you may have to use a bungee or similar means. I carried them in a square sports tote where more stuff was sitting on top and around them and did not have any issues. Used the Frying pan to fry steak and chops smothered with onions, bell peppers, Dale's seasoning, Worcestershire, and teriyaki sauce. My Coleman stove has very poor flame control and cooks pretty much on high, super high and flame thrower power. As a result the sauces burned on the pan and left stains. I expected this, have done it to all my other pans and don't fault this pan. Guess its time to shop for a new stove! The pots worked perfect for beans, corn and similar foods. I used all of them and they are well made and a pleasure to use. And of course the big complaint. Only one handle. It is very painful to swap the handle out in a hurry since you have to bend it almost vertical to get it out. If you just set one pot/pan off and are in a hurry to get another pot off it is not ideal. I wish the seller would add a second handle and just increase the price by a reasonable amount. You can now buy an additional handle from the Stansport, made to fit this set, by calling them at (eight hundred, four two one, six one three one) or visiting their web site at http://www.stansport.com/index.php/r-0002.html. At this writing the cost is fourteen ninety nine and shipping is not free unless you spend fifty. I have seen many reviews that say you can find suitable handles easily, online and at big box stores. I have NOT found this to be the case. All of the "fit all" handles I have located online are poorly made and have bad reviews. The big box stores including sporting goods stores in my area have nothing in the camping sections or elsewhere. The expensive hiking and camping specialty stores have replacement handles that work on a pliers pinching principal but are not very well reviewed either. Have not decided whether to pay the high replacement cost or keep looking. If I find a suitable alternative, will update this review. Overall I am happy with the set and would buy them again.

Super cook set
Really high quality cook set, with triple-ply stainless-steel plus aluminum whatever, probably suitable for even induction cookware. Seems to have all these layers without being heavy. Minor complaints: Slight smell of mineral oil when unpacking, probably used to pre-season the cookware. Smell goes away quickly. Gee, I wish there were an extra handle and an extra cover included. Handle slightly tricky to install, probably as good or better than any other design for a clip-on handle. The cover seems to function like a pressure cooker top, even though no statement confirming this, very good quality. Can cook kasha evenly while keeping it moist, a major plus. Also great for cooking dried veggies used in camping gear. The handle enclosed with my set connects and disconnects from the saucepans using an extendible tongue that is moved by a button on top of the handle. After a few days of use, the button becomes very stiff and hard to move, so that releasing and attaching the handle is very difficult. I tried to oil the handle, and I got a steel whisker in my fingertip for my trouble. So, I threw the handle away as a safety measure. Which leaves saucepots without handles. I bought a pair of deep-dish pizza-pan handles, which fit perfectly, but may not be steady enough for complete safety. The Amazon listing of these exact-fit pan handles is "Pan Gripper Deep Dish Model" by Chicago Metallic. The gripper needs to be used carefully, which means it can lose grip on a heavy saucepan. One way to make the gripper stable is to buy a 3" long (75 millimeter) heavy bolt with a washer for the top end and a locking washer for the bottom end, together with a wing nut for tightening the handle. In other words, the far end of the gripper already has holes that can be used to install a stability bolt to turn it into a conventional handle.

Awesome Camping/Backpacking Cookware
I have not yet used these pots and pan, however, I am very pleased with what I got. No damage to pots/packaging problems. Great price for these high quality pots and pan! They are 18/10 stainless steel, very thick bottom, and therefore will heat up very well and evenly. I love how all of the pots nest together with the pan being the lid. I wish there would've been a carry bag or straps of some kind to hold the pots and pan nested together. No biggie, I just purchased some cheap sleeping bag straps. The pot lid only fits one size pot, I wish that it would've been an universal lid, but you could always use the pan for a make-do lid. The handle works well, but you can't go crazy in the angles you carry it at. I am super pleased that I can cook with these pots and pan anywhere- on my stove or over a campfire, and also super easy clean-up! I can easily scrub down with some sand if need be! I Love the different size varieties. I can cook anything I'd like to for my family with this set, or take the smaller size pots with me backpacking and make packaged meals. All together the set is a little too heavy for backpacking- however, if you are not a super light backpacker you could easily split this up with a partner, or just choose what sizes you want to take with you. It heats great, can be used on any kind of heating system- small stove to campfire, and it is very durable and can withstand heavy cleaning. It is a great system for both car camping and backpacking!!! Love it, would purchase it again, highly recommend it!!! *If I have any problems or further comments after using I will update.

Dbl duty as mixing bowls & bakeware! Saves tons on kitchen clutter!
Worried after reading reviews about dents, but mine arrived & look absolutely showroom perfect! They aren’t thin & cheap at all. LOVE that they’ll do dbl duty as mixing bowls too! And I could even bake in them if I want to because the handle is detachable & the lid is completely SS, handle & all. This will save so much on kitchen clutter if I use them in all these ways! I used to have cast iron pans that served dbl duty as bakeware & it was so nice! But they were too heavy when I got older & had hand problems. This SS nesting set is absolutely perfect & I will be so happy to kiss a lot of lid & pan & bakeware clutter goodbye!!! So glad to find this set. These look plenty good enough for house use & are full size pots & skillet. They don’t look like camp equipment at all IMO, & have some heft to them too. They’re pretty SS w/ brushed insides & thick clad bottoms. The handle isn’t flimsy or rinky dink looking. It looks nice on the pans & no reason to be ashamed of company seeing this set in the kitchen! I love it already & just got them. Haven’t had time to cook in them yet, but I’ll update if everything sticks, burns, or discolors the pretty SS finish. From the thickness & weight & feel of these pans, I don’t expect any problems cooking or baking in them. They appear to be quality SS. So if no updates get posted soon, then these cooked & cleaned like good SS should.

I always rate 5 stars when products far exceed my expectations.
We bought a small 16 foot travel trailer last summer and being new to the RV lifestyle, we spent a lot of time researching what we would need to know about so many things. When it came to cooking, I knew first off, that since storage space is at such a premium, we would need a cookware set that nested by design, had a removable handle and had enough of a selection to accommodate any kind of cooking (that we would do). This set met our fundamental requirements in spades. Really packs up nicely in a minimum of space. Our first impression was that the overall quality of material and construction was totally excellent. They really look and feel like very high quality stainless cookware, nothing compromised anywhere. As we started to travel and cook with them, we became amazed at how well they heated and cooked food. I know that sounds a bit abstract, as in what else would you expect from cookware, but they just heat everything very evenly and effectively. Closer examination revealed what looks like a design that incorporates an outer and inner pan bottom with an air gap between the two which distributes the burner heat very evenly across the entire surface. Another thing we discovered that we love about them (and we're at a loss to explain it) is that they clean up with very little effort. Nothing really sticks to them that much at all. We cook the same foods in them that we do with our household cookware and we struggle with the home kitchenware to get them clean sometimes ... not so with this set. The set comes with one pot lid with formed, stepped edges corresponding to each individual pot size with the exception of the biggest pan. The frying pan is meant to serve as the lid for this very large pot but in essence means that there is no lid that fits the frying pan. We simply include one from home that wasn't being used much anyway. If you were cooking with several pans and needed more than one lid, you might have to improvise or bring another lid from home. And then you do have to remove and install the one handle that is supplied if you're using several pots at once. The handle has a spring loaded catch that locks onto the pan to ensure it doesn't come off accidentally. Even so, this set still deserves a 5 star rating as it excels in so many other really important areas.

Well made, functional pots but the handle is not designed well.
I ordered these a few years ago to go with my camping supplies but haven't used them until recently. We're planning a trip and will be cooking our own food so will need some pots and pans. I dug these out to take along and decided to give them a try in my kitchen before heading out with them. The pots and pans seem to be good quality. They allow liquids to come to a boil quickly, indicating that the heat is well distributed on the bottom. They perform well with one exception. The handle. It took me quite a bit of fiddling to figure out how to attach the handle. Initially I just stuck the bent part of the handle into the top of the handle holder but when I moved the pan, the handle came off. I finally looked at videos online and figured out how to properly attach the handle. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it shows in the video. It requires too hands and tipping the pot or pan either on its side or upside down to get the handle inserted properly. There is absolutely no way that you can move the handle from one pot to another while cooking and it can't be done quickly. I've ordered a generic pot handle to add to the kit so I can use more than one pot or pan at a time with this set. I thought about ordering an identical replacement handle that is made specifically for this set, but they're over $15.00 now and I was able to get a different version that should work just fine for about half that. One of the pots also has a dent in it. I'm not sure if that happened before I received this or not as it's been in storage but these have been stored inside a container with the cardboard inserts between each pot, so it's unlikely that that dent occurred in storage as it's on the small pot, which was nested inside a larger pot with a cardboard liner in between. It still functions fine, but as another reviewer said, if I'm going to receive a scratch and dent set, then I'd rather pay a scratch and dent price and know about it beforehand.

Excellent buy
These are amazing Used for our 6 week trip on Rt 66 They held up well Clean up easy and cooked food great Loved using them The handle that was included lost its screws and we had to replace them You had to keep checking them to make sure they didn't come loose I bought a universal handle which was a little more resilient

Outstanding quality for the price
Nice heavy bottom that I confirmed works with the induction cooktop in our RV. Quality overall seems excellent and the nesting feature is fantastic!

Very good quality
Love the sizes, good steel bottom, finishes without scraches after 3 summers of use. Only trouble are the screws in the handle. They become loose once in a while so you have to check and fastan them regulary.
