Color treated shampoo.What is a color safe shampoo?

Well, the vendor lists it as color safe because it doesn't have any sulfates so it will not fade your hair color. That is if you colored your hair. Your natural hair color doesn't have anything to do with this. Sulfates are strong detergents that strip your hair of natural oils and artificial color and can also damage hair treatments like straightening or permanents so it is important to use sulfate free shampoos after undergoing treatments like these. But its important to note that it will not extend the life of your artificial hair color. You need color protecting Shampoo for that. I hope my explanation helps.

From what I could find on line yes. I have since used a line called Neuma it is and is AWESOME also REALLY like Purology.

Will this shampoo work if I have oily hair

I can tell you this .. it seems to not dry out my hair but not make it oily . Very nice shampoo
