It worked perfectly for me!
I just bought the Bar's Leaks Liquid Aluminum Stop Leak and I’m truly sastified. After noticing a coolant leak from my car on my driveway and when I got to work, I was afraid that i might break down on the highway going to work or going home from work. At first, I was skeptical about using a stop leak product since I’ve never used one before nor did I hear anyone give me feedback about their experience with any leak but this one honestly exceeded my expectations. I am 100% happy with the results, I haven’t seen any leaks. I will top my coolant reservoir with coolant and see if the reservoir itself will decrease in coolant since I haven’t seen any drips under my car. It was straightforward, add the bottle into the reservoir since I didn’t have access directly to the radiator on my car. It has instructions on the bottle on how much and where to add the liquid to. My engine temperature is normal when driving and I’ve never seen it go up ever since adding this leak liquid. I can say I’m satisfied and for reference, I added full bottle into my reservoir and my vehicle is a fairly newer Jeep Grand Cherokee!

I was hoping this would reduce the leak rate further but things got worse; it went back to how bad it used ...
After use the leak increased in speed. I can not be sure this was related to that but it did happen at the same time. I drove 2 hours after use. I do not think the radiator itself had any leaks and I put in a pump and new hose last year which helped greatly but didn't stop the slow leaking. A rate of every 3 months; I was hoping this would reduce the leak rate further but things got worse; it went back to how bad it used to be. Like I said, I don't think I can link the problem to this product, which is simply metal flakes in liquid which hopefully get jammed into leak. What I did notice is that the level never goes down when driving but after sitting a while the level goes down; so this could be helping during operation but when the pressure drops this stuff no longer plugs the leak so it still is leaking. The fact it is worse I do not think is connected. That is my theory on what is going wrong. I think this product is a clever solution to mitigate leaks but unlikely to solve problems - which is the expectation I had when I bought it. I may buy it again.

Works for a small leak (Jeep). But don't expect miracles.
I have a small coolant leak on my Jeep — not huge, but it was dripping. I read a lot of reviews. Many people said this product does nothing, especially on European cars. But I noticed that most of those people had big, serious leaks. Then I found one review from another Jeep owner with a small leak, just like mine. It worked for him. So I decided to try it. It worked for me too. My small drip stopped completely. My honest opinion: If you have a small leak (seepage, not a gusher) — this will probably fix it. If you have a big, active leak — don't waste your money. Fix the real problem. I'm happy with the product. It saved me time and money. But you have to be realistic about what it can do.

This product actually works
Yeah I think you can get some years ago my pickup truck started spraying coolant all over the place under the hood period I was traveling, and I was not in a position to replace the water pump. So I went to Walmart and looked at all the radiator stop leaks they had there. This was the only one that offered a money back guarantee. I did not care about the money back guarantee, but it made me think that they must really believe in this product. I told my son that I had been using radiator stop leak products for over 50 years, and they had never really worked. So he asked me why I was doing it now. I said because I didn't have any other choice. And then, to my utter astonishment, this product worked. After a few minutes, all the water spraying under the hood stopped! This is years later, and I still haven't replaced my water pump. I have had to refresh this product once or twice by adding more to my cooling system, but who cares. I always travel with a full bottle of this in the truck somewhere!

Didnt band aid my issue
Unfortunately this did not work.for me. I had a completely empty radiator. Put a new thermostat in and did a full cycle and purge. Have a small leak at the top near the upper radiator hose. This product stopped it for a day. Leak is back.

plugged my heater core now no heat all!
I edited this product to my radiator in my Mazda 6 two months ago in mid-January, because I had a very slight leakage in my heater core or somewhere which was causing my windows to fog up, I started with one half of the bottle, it helped a little, then I Added most of the make remaining portion, and is eliminated the window fogging within three weeks. As of today which is two months later my heater core is completely plugged up and I get no heat. I called the company and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Sean who suggested various remedies such as burping the system to possibly correct the problem followed by using a cleaner flushing product, followed by replacement of heater core or whatever is necessary. He was trying to attribute this pluggage to scale and rust in my radiator of which there is none. That product says unconditionally guaranteed not to Muck up your radiator, I will be taking it to the shop to have them do the necessary repairs and will be contacting bars to pay for it. However I am sure from my conversation that they will be some problem inasmuch as they want me to ship them the parts and the liquid contents of my Radiator for their examination and determination as to whether they have any responsibility in this more to follow just be aware that this happened to me

I’d say it worked great, I did something very stupid, I had my van idling on my driveway for about twenty minutes or so and my neighbour saw smoke coming from it and alerted me, most of the fluid leaked out of the radiator and in the process it sprung a couple of leaks, went and checked on line with my very good friend the one and only Scotty Kilmer and Barr,s radiator stop leak is what he swore by, no regrets using it, most of the leaks are gone just a minor drip from what I believe is coming from the drain plug, glad I used Barr’s Stop Leak

Had a minor leak coming from the bottom of my car radiator. Watched the video from the makers and used half a bottle for a 2009 Nissan Sentra and 3 days later no leak visible and the overflow bottle not drained, fingers crossed. Update: 5 months on and no leak. Highly recommend for minor leaks.
