And Everyone Shouted, ""Pull!"": A First Look at Forces and Motion (First Look: Science)

What a fun book to introduce the concept of Push and Pull! It really helped students understand what happens on a hill, with a heavy load, etc. My students were engaged in the story, but were also learning science along with it! We really enjoyed this book. I also love the use of speech bubbles as I was able to include that as a lesson too!

This book was part of a special education unit on movement. I was so excited when my students learned that push and pull are forces. They loved this well-written story!

I bought this for my preschool classroom and our study on simple machines. They loved it and we were able to act out the story outside. It was a great balance of fiction and non-fiction!
