I like the flavor and it’s very aromatic. I chose it based on Amazon reviews and I wasn’t really disappointed. I also picked up the. Lapsang Souchong tea. The Smokey flavor on that one is milder than what I’m accustomed to but it works. As for the value for either tea, the price might be a bit much especially as an avid tea drinker. I may consume an entire 4oz tin in one month. I’m just exploring at this moment, so if I choose to buy more of it, I may purchase it in bulk to save money. But it definitely has a bright floral and citrus taste in aroma. And a bit different from a Sadaf Darjeeling Earl Grey blend. I’m sure it’s tailored to different pallets. I can’t say one is necessarily better than the other. My primary tea of choice Is ripe peurh.

Excellent flavorful tea!

The underlying black tea (reminiscent of Assam) and strong bergamot fragrance combine to yield a satisfying cup of Earl Grey. This is among the best Earl Grey blends I've tried. The tin is much larger than I was expecting, which is a point against the product for me, as I would have preferred a much smaller and sturdier tin. **UPDATE after 4 months: I have finished the tin of tea, tried a wide variety of other Earl Grey brands (British and American), and I still enjoy this Earl Grey for the strong flavors, when I want a more malty and pungent EG. I also recently tried the Earl Grey Green Tea, which turned out to be just as strange and exotic as I expected -- I'm still not even sure I enjoy the combination. I'll have to update after several more tries. The Earl Grey green -- like the EG black -- is very fragrant and the tea itself has quite a strong flavor, to stand up to the bergamot. More later *** And btw, you need a giant tin for these fabulous teas, as they will go quickly.

I was skeptical about purchasing this considering the low cost, but I am glad that I did. The flavor is great compared to other brands that I have tried. It can be quite strong, so don't use to many leaves, else you'll have an extremely bitter tasting tea.
