Love these cups Just bought 3 more. Besides using for regular drinks I put dairy queen blizzards in the cup so it won't melt fast.

This coffee mug has replaced the older style that is taller and has a separate handle. This one is much nicer.

I bought this cup again because the last one I purchased lasted five years. It worked well in the microwave as it keeps hot drinks hot longer. Five years of dish washing and nuking is good for $9. I never use the lid but I like having the option.

Got this Tervis 16 oz tumbler when I took up tea drinking. It's technically a little too big for the tea brower I bought, but that tea brewer is adaptable. And it fits nicely into the cup holder for my desk I ordered later. The handle is nicely sized, and I can fit all four fingers in there (or 3 fingers when gloved). The cover is marketed as sip friendly, but turns out it was only partially true. There is a slide lock that can keep the content closed and steaming, and if you open the slide lock you expose a small vent hole and a stipping crack. In my experience, this doesn't quite control the liquid coming out, but YMMV. The cup is considered a tumbler and while I didn't throw it on the ground, I have dropped it from desk height once or twice, and it's fine. Not with liquid inside though. That may have made a difference. I didn't really want to test how leakproof the lid is. It shoudl be adequate for most use cases. NOTE: this tumbler is narrower on the bottom, so it's not really stabilized, and the big and low handle would make it unsuitable for auto-use as it'd have a hard time fitting into cup holders that doesn't have a large "handle cutout". All in all, the whole cup is very nicely made and with proper care I expect it to last a long time. It is a good gift for people who drink tea or coffee at a desk or at home.

I love these Insulated Tumbler Travel Cups with Lid, and we have several here at home. They are just as advertised---nicely made as far as size, shape and handle. Lid snaps on and stays on, with room to drink from the cup without any spills, or use a straw. These are great for hot drinks and cold, and they hold the temperature for a good long time. I love the choice of colors as well. They hold up well in the dishwasher too. Very nice. Thank You.

I bought this as I like to sip on almost hot water all day and I want it to stay hot as I take a while to drink a whole cup. This seems to keep it hot much longer than my other cups did but I could not get the lid off after. I had to fight with it to get it off. So now I don't dare put it back on and I have used a bamboo lid from another cup on it. I also found that the lid tasted like plastic even though I washed it before I used it.
