Low voltage wiring with sounder
I got this to replace an old low voltage smoke that was connected to a dead alarm system. The alarm system was replaced with a konnected pro panel. I ran ethernet cable to this smoke detector from the konnected panel. This smoke has no hush button, so i used the alarm2 output to power the smoke detector. This allows me to easily cut power to the smoke (the proper way to hush it) for a false alarm (which has not happened in the months that I've had this device installed near my kitchen). It's working great.
