Hawaii's Best Butter Mochi Brownie Mix (With 100% Ghirardelli Cocoa)

Hawaiian friends sent me these and they’re so good. I buy them all the time now it has a nice spongy taste to it. I wish it was a little cheaper though, but great buy

Everything that I have tried (all the mochi products) by this brand is delicious. My kids request “mochi cake” for their birthdays. Not everything is GF but there is a lot that is, and it’s all so delicious that non-gluten free folks love it too.

I first tried this mix after receiving it as a gift from family in Hawaii, and we loved it! It is so easy to make and only requires 3 simple ingredients: water, eggs, and salted butter. I wanted to make it again for my daughter’s birthday since she is not a big fan of traditional cake. Living on the mainland, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find it at the Hawaiian store, so I ordered it from Amazon. I’m sure the price is inflated on Amazon, but it’s more convenient than asking someone to send it to me from Hawaii. You have to really like mochi to enjoy these brownies. If you are unfamiliar with the taste and texture, you may be disappointed. Also, make sure it is completely cooled before serving. They’re not meant to be served warm like regular brownies.

If not because of the expensive price, I will buy this every week. Sooo good!

Better than I couldve imagined, these are such a treat to make! They're simple to make. I followed the recipe as listed on the bag, and they came out amazing! They also store well and set up nicely, too! I'm eager to try the other flavours, but I am apprehensive to order foodstuffs currently, with how hot its been here in the deep south. I highly recommend! Best brownies I've ever had, and I have had many different types!

The price is a little steep but the taste make its worth it. It has the wonderful texture of butter mochi with it soft but bouncy feeling, with the taste of very rich chocolate cake. I am 100% ordering again! Though I wouldn’t recommend if you haven’t tried butter mochi before because the texture can be very off putting at first and for the price it might not be worth the risk.

This mix requires a good amount of butter and tasted amazing! We had butter Mochi in Maui and I was delighted to discover that we can make it back home! These are the chewiest tastiest brownies! If you are able, I recommend purchasing from World Market, the price is $9.99 and they sometimes have coupons, so you can get it for less!

Ehhh.... it doesn’t feel or taste like mochi. It tastes just like an odd spongy brownie. The product consistency just didn’t feel like mochi. I won’t buy this again; i’m going to stay with the regular vanilla flavored/yellow-cake mochi.
