The decibel reduction is very good, and they are very comfortable. I wear them while running my farm tractor, mowing our field, logging, grading our driveway, and they reduce the noise so much you can have the radio volume low & hear it fine. They are much more comfortable than a pair I had from Home Depot & those went through a lot of triple A batteries 3 at a time. This unit takes 2 AA batteries. I had been carrying 2 AA's in my pocket, but after weeks of using them for hours each day 5 to 6 days a week, I put the extra batteries away. I'm still on the first 2 batteries I put in it, and bought this week's ago. The only negative is no blue tooth so if I'm working & get a call, I have to shut down the tractor & take the ear muffs off to talk, but the lack of blue tooth is probably greatly helping the battery life. Since I wear them to save my hearing, not talk on my phone, the comfort & battery life way out weigh the use of Bluetooth. If these ever die, I would definitely buy another pair. Very well made & comes with a pouch to keep them in, so when I'm done, I just hang the pouch on the tractors Rops.

I just received this am/fm radio headset by Zohan. It appears to be very well made and durable. Batteries were difficult to insert but with persistence I was able to get them placed properly. FM radio reception was very good. Listening to an audio book through my Galaxy phone was easy but I needed to get a new cord to attach my phone to the AUX jack in the headset. Easy to find one on Amazon with AUX plug on one end and USB-C on the other end to fit my phone. Sound was very good. Purchasing this headset with a bluetooth function would have been better (eliminating the cord) but on a budget and purchased this model to save a bit of money. One issue is the tightness of the fit against my ears/head. I guess I have a big head. The tight fit is definitely a plus for noise reduction but I am not sure I can get used to this tight fit. The only adjustment possible increases the height of the ear muffs but I can't seem to find a way to adjust the width of the headset to listen the fit around my ears. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Other wise, I am pleased with this item and is what I was lookiing for, AM/FM stations, listening to music and audible books through my galaxy phone.

I own two properties, amounting to over 2 acres of grass to mow. I have purchased 3 sets of hearing protectors w/radio over the years (major brand manufacturer.) But when I looked at the features of the ZOHAN, I decided to order it, and use it for a few weeks before submitting a review. I have found it to be an excellent choice! They are reasonably comfortable to wear (although I don't think wearing any headphones while bouncing around on a lawn mower for 2 or 3 hours is truly a "comfortable" experience.) That having been said, these headphones DO block out much of the mower noise, and the radio works well. The four buttons allow the wearer to easily change stations, program only the stations that one likes to easily switch saved stations without looking at the LCD display. The only issue I had was inadvertently programming a station that I didn't want put into memory mode. The direction sheet that comes with the headphones is clear...except it didn't include directions about deleting a saved station. I ended up emailing the manufacturer's support for assistance, and received a quick reply from someone named "Pitt." Very impressive. Hence, I'm including the directions I received. Buying a great product at a fair price, along with good customer support seems to be getting more rare these days...so I was pleased to give this product a well-deserved positive review. Customer service directions for deleting a radio station as follows: 1. Short press the M key to choose the channel you want to delete. 2. Long press and hold the M button; the numbers on the screen will flash. 3. Short press the M button while the numbers are flashing, then the screen will display "---" to confirm the deletion. 4. If you need to delete all channels, repeat step 1,2,3 for all saved channels. 5. Nothing happens when you short press the M key (there is no number in front of the channel.

Love theses, great to block out the mower noise and listen to music

I have allot of grass to cut in the summer. I love these headphones. My only complaint of I have to have one is that they can be a little tight on your ears, however they have to be to keep all the noise of the lawnmower out. The connection can be bad sometimes but that’s my area. The only problem we have is fighting over them.

I haven't owned these very long but so far the reception is good but they're tight on my head. After wearing for a half hour I take them off and give my head a break. Does anyone know how I can make them less tight? Stretching the head band by hand doesn't work.

I can buy something almost identical to this at the local hardware store, however they don't come in grey. Also, they are the "newer" version that does not have the led screen, but instead has a tuning know with a voice that tells you what channel you are on. This is perhaps handy in noisy environments where taking off the headphones to see the channel would be ill advised. I prefer the older model. With the screen you can easily look at what frequency you are on. With the newer model it's way more trouble. You have to move the knob to another frequency and back again to hear where you are. (?) Also, the older model has the volume knob mounted in a better spot. Not a round volume knob that is mounted where you can accidentally move it with your shoulder as you move your head around. Probably not a problem if you are not wearing a heavy jacket. The older model has it recessed in the center. I will take the older model any day. Features are the same. Lastly, they had great customer service. I had some questions and used the contact email and got replied within a day and positive outcomes to my questions. As far as the other ratings go, no doubt at this price sound quality is fine as is the value. I think it's actually a few bucks cheaper at the hardware store but again, no grey. As far as noise cancelling goes, it's pretty good. I wear them when using my mower as well as in an aircraft. Use the aux. input for your phone or movie. Way better. Dampens the aircraft noise as well as screaming kids. If you read up on sound pressure and various devices, you will find that noise suppression is very dependent upon the fit of all devices and that the rating is a lab rating. I now have three of these. For the price, I don't want to be without. Just recently I travelled without and never again, They actually don't take as much room as it looks like. This model comes with a super heavy duty carry bag. I won't be using it because it takes up more space that way and would prevent you from using the space between the ear muffs for packing stuff. For my oldest pair I had to repair the swivel connection between the headband and the ear muff. (epoxy) I think it is made a bit more robust now. Would buy this product from them again.

Excellent product!

My adult son is protecting his ears for the first time in years. The radio is clear as a bell. These muffs are an old fashioned ear bud without a cell phone and with protection.
