Overall, love this! This is a gorgeous party dress. I will say though that the red is very vibrant and warm-toned, so it might not be suitable for people with cool-toned skin. Besides that, it's really eye-catching and easy to style. For reference, I’m 5'2", around 105 lbs, usually a size XS/0-2. This was short even on me, so tall people... watch out lol. Also, maybe bc I'm petite, but the proportions felt slightly off on me. It was oddly long in the torso and bust, whereas the part tailored for the hips and below was very short in comparison. It came out pretty boxy on me, but would probably do better on someone of average height or taller. One thing I loved is that there's a silicone ring around the top of the dress and elastic in the back, which helps the dress stay up and ensures that this doesn't have to fit perfectly to stay up or be wearable. Nothing worse than putting on a satin dress that you're half a size too large for -- the elastic prevents that. Fabric feels lightweight and smooth. Not super thick, but not cheap-feeling either -- standard Princess Polly fare, if you've tried anything with their satin material before. Overall, I think this is a good dress -- just maybe not the most petite-friendly. I think this is good value, and although it wasn't the most flattering on my personally, I still think this is 5 star-worthy.

Cute but short

I wanted to love this dress based on the photos, but my experience with it has been pretty meh. The material feels decent enough for the price and it’s comfortable to wear around the house or for casual errands, but the design leaves a lot to be desired. The overall silhouette just doesn’t come together in a pleasing way — it feels like the styling is trying to be elegant, but ends up looking slightly awkward instead. One of my biggest issues is with the back of the dress. The way it hangs low makes it feel unstable and gives it a droopy appearance rather than a flattering one. It doesn’t sit well against my body and doesn’t hug or define my shape the way I expected. Even with a belt or layering piece, I couldn’t quite fix the way it fell on me. The front looks better than the back, but overall the dress just doesn’t fit especially well on the body — it feels a bit shapeless in places where I’d hoped for a more thoughtful cut. I don’t want to be overly negative because it’s not terrible — it’s wearable and the fabric isn’t uncomfortable — but it’s definitely not the elegant, well-fitting piece I was hoping for. For the price, it’s okay… but a few tweaks to the fit and design would make a world of difference.

Some good, some bad, here. Love the way this hugs the body. The overall fit is really nice. I like the texture of the fabric being so silky and smooth, but then the thickness of it comes off as being a bit cheap, and it's definitely not a warm dress. It's pretty short too. Versatile for accessorizing or adding more layers at least.

The red color is rich and vibrant, and it hasn’t lost any of its intensity after a couple of washes. I ordered my usual sizing and it fits true to size for me. I'm also 5'7 and it stops at my upper thigh area. The style is modern and flirty without trying too hard. The fabric has a nice weight to it, so it moves well and doesn’t cling awkwardly. I’ve worn it out with and have received TONS of compliments on it. Overall, if you’re looking for a mini that feels chic and comfortable with a quality look and feel, this one definitely delivers. It’s cute, flattering, and an easy piece to dress up or down.
