Solid
I had a pair of these before that were grey. Had them for almost three years and then the left earbud stopped working after I spilled water on them. Great sounding earbuds and the battery life is incredible for such a small pair of headphones. Better than airpods, better than most wired earbuds, and better than most wireless earbuds in their category. The only gripe I've got is that it isn't noise-canceling, but I wouldn't expect that from headphones at this price range. The noise isolation is good though, perfect for travel and daily commuting. Get them. They are good.

Can’t live without the
This is (technically) my third pair of BeatsX. I absolutely love them, and didn’t realize how much until my last pair died, and I decided to try Airpods. What a waste of my time to order and return those before being able to buy a new pair of Beats! Pros: - Sound quality is great (better than the airpods) - Actually fit in my ears (I guess I have small ears and the airpods didn’t fit. They were constantly falling out) - very comfortable in ear (besides not fitting, the airpods hurt like hell) - controls from the earphones (including play/pause, next, volume, and phone. It’s something you don’t think is a big deal to not have controls because you’re always by your phone anyways, but trust me, it makes a big difference) - personally, I like that they have a neck cord. (You don’t have to take the time to store them somewhere safe if you’re constantly switching between tasks that you do and don’t want to be using your headphones for) - connect to phone seamlessly - the battery life is pretty good (I wouldn’t say great, but the charge is very fast. Five minutes gives you another three hours and probably fully charged within 20min) Cons: - this is my third pair.... they kind of die after a year and a half like clockwork..... Make sure you have the two year warranty and apple will replace (that’s why I say technically my 3rd pair). So basically you get three years out of them before having to replace at your own cost. - nothing else to complain about. The above and the fact that the airpods have a charging case are the only reasons I wanted to try them instead. Regretted it fully and will not stray from the beats again!

Nightmare!!!!!!!!
I bought my first pair of these in November 2018 (Black Friday Purchase ace). I LOVED them. Good sound, comfortable, easy to carry around, everything. After just over a year of owning them (right at one month after the warranty expired) I started to experience drop out on one side. By the middle of January 2020 the left side stoped functioning entirely. I thought long and hard and was worried about ordering another pair. For the price they should last a lot longer the one year and one month. I have a pair of wired earbuds that came with my iPhone 5 that still work just fine! I decided to order a set of Beats Powerbeats 3. Very bad idea, not only were they uncomfortable but one side (left side this time) had dropout out of the box. So I thought to hell with it, get another pair of Beats X. Wish I had not! The new Beats X arrived and out of the box they never turned on. I charged them for an hour before even trying and nothing. Charged them for 24 hours and nothing. DOA! Nothing, nada, zero sound out of them. To make things so much worse Amazon got me good. Before I can get a refund for whatever reason (two defective items in a row, Amazon being evil, cannot replace, whatever) I have to wait until they receive them to get Amazon credit or TWO WEEKS after they receive them to get my credit card refunded. This whole this is a flipping nightmare. Now not only do in STILL not have a functioning set of earbuds but I have to wait until I can get access to a printer in the middle of a GD lockdown before I have a prayer of getting a refund. Save yourself a whole heap of trouble, frustration, and hassle and skip anything with the Beats label. You will be better off with something else!

The absolute best Bluetooth earphones!!!
This review is honest. I absolutely love these headphones. This is my 3rd pair. My first were refurbished and they cut in and out often. I ended up setting them down and one of the ear pieces went into my cup of water.. so that got ruined. My mistake. My second pair lasted me 5 months. Then I got in an accident. They were in my vehicle when it got towed and they were stolen. So, that’s my mistake for leaving it in my car after the accident. This third pair, I didn’t buy refurbished. They are perfect and I hope that these will last a lot longer than my previous two. Read the manual. Seriously. The battery life is exactly as it states. The moment it’s fully charged, turned on, and dies, is 8hrs. And just like any battery life, the integrity of a battery diminishes throughout time and with excessive use. So, don’t give it a bad review if you’re not handling them properly. The sound quality is AMAZING. Noise cancelling. Selecting the right ear piece size is critical. Gotta make sure it fits perfectly to work perfectly. It’s normal common sense. I will constantly be buying these, when needed!! They are perfect for working out as well. They stay in and stay in place. I love that they are around my neck for safe keeping as well. I’ve had different Bluetooth headphones, and these are my favorite. I’ve B used the AirPods and I don’t care for them. They hurt my ear. These BeatsX have never hurt my ear. They are comfy! I 100% recommend people to buy these.

Great sound bad batteries
Sound quality is amazing, battery life is very disappointing. I’ve used lg Bluetooth headsets for a while and decided to treat myself to something a bit better. I have a larger than average neck and I wish they fit a little better, but I think that’s unique to me and others with a large neck. They still fit pretty well and when they aren’t being used they stay in the “necklace” pretty well. They haven’t fallen off or anything. Coming from the lg sets, I’ve become accustomed to having a lot more controls on the set. The controls on the beats are minimum in comparison. I only wish I could skip tracks and it would be a 75% improvement. All was well from early in the morning until just before lunch when I heard them make some strange sound. I soon learned that the sound was the warning for dead batteries. Less than five hours and these thing were DEAD! With the lg sets I’ve been used to getting a full 8 hour day at a minimum. These are far less bulky than what I’ve had before and I guess the less bulk equals less room for batteries. I’ve had to start carrying a cable and car charger with me at all times in my work uniform. I’m not a big fan of carrying accessories with me all the time, especially not to charge another accessory. The sound quality of these things makes up for the lack of battery for me though. My love of listening to music through the day has been reawakened. Also, I bought the white pair. I like the look of them but given the chance, I would have bought the black version. I work outdoors and they get dirt and whatnot on them easily but they do clean up pretty easily.

Amazon stinks !
I bought this in October 2019- one side stopped working- I took it to apple repair because it has a year warranty- however, the year warranty was when Amazon bought this item to sell which was November 2018 so the year warranty had run out before I even bought it from amazon- terrible way to handle service and on there is no way online to get this resolved and no one is answering phones- a recording comes on and tells you to go online? really stinks - hope no one has this issue- 100 dollars down the drain

Nice buds, meh battery life, minor usability issues
These are not perfect, but I'm happier with them than any other earbuds that I've owned. Having a lot of Apple stuff, the extra integration you get with these compared to regular Bluetooth buds is a plus. For example, you can use double- and triple-button presses for specialized actions that aren't available with normal Bluetooth headsets. Sound quality seems just fine to me but I'm not an audiophile, and 80% of the time I'm listening to spoken word stuff. I would gladly accept a little bit more bulk in exchange for hour or two of battery life per charge. I use my earbuds through the workday due to my job's noisy, miserable open office setup, and then keep using them on and off after work. The battery approaches zero around the end of the afternoon. The quick charge feature is nice, but having to worry about the battery dying every day at 5pm or so is annoying. There are also a couple of irritating usability problems. Some bluetooth headphones have a voice that says "connected" or "disconnected," which is kind of cheesy but leaves little room for interpretation. The Beats instead play a little tune when they are connected, and an almost indistinguishably different tune when they're disconnected. What's more, the same "disconnected" tune is played when the buds are about to turn off. Not useful. Also, to turn on the earbuds, you have to hold a button down for two seconds or so, but if you hold it down too long, it will go into pairing mode. So it would be good to know exactly when they've been turned on so you can cease pressing the button. When the buds turn on, a little white light turns on. However, if you're wearing the buds while you're turning them on, you can't see the light, so it is not useful feedback. It would be nice if there were a little audio feedback when the buds are turned on, but there isn't. Still, quibbles aside, these are pretty good and well designed wireless earbuds.

Ear bud critic
if you workout and sweat a lot these headphones are your best bet. The sound quality sucks, ear pieces suck but suck less than others, they use to include some cheap plastic clips that help keep them in your ear but i guess it was eating into CrApple's profits. The BT range is best in class. $99 bucks for something that has bill of materials of less than $5 bucks. The band wire sticks to your neck which can be annoying. I'm on my forth pair. some make it 3 months some 9 months. The other brands are uncomfortable, don't last long and can be more expensive. Sell a pack of 5 for $99 bucks and include the ear pieces clips and you've made me happy. Not sure if Physics will allow much sound improvement without sacrificing ear piece size.

Excellent product
This is the third set that I have had, they do seem to fail just around the 1 year mark but up until then they work extremely well

Amazing!
I love my beats and when my new phone didn’t have a headphone jack, I bought these Bluetooth ones. They are great on my 5k walk/runs. They come with different sized silicones for different shaped ears. Very comfortable and great sound!!
