Needed a sturdy duck bumper to cover a sharp dock edge with one short side. Could not find a corner that would fit the short side of the dock that had a pole. Took a chance that installing this one upside down with the top side covering the corner would protect our boat. This was extremely easy to install after drilling three holes in the aluminum dock side and using the top edge to overlap the bottom of the dock with about 1/2” overlapping the short corner. It worked great and I angled the existing bumper on the short corner to provide additional protection.

2nd season with them and they get the job done. First, too firm out of the box so I drilled out a mold hole in the back before mounting so there was some give to the plastic. These are not soft. Second, either attach before the dock goes in the water or be prepared to hang over the water with your drill to install. And holes are too deep and large to use Phillips head screws because the shot is blind. Use a stainless screw (and washer) with a hex head to install "over" the water. I use 3 of these, one on the side by the eye bolt and two in front, aligned with each pontoon.

I installed them around the dock this past spring. They held up perfectly all season. I can highly recommend them for as long as they remain affordable. these softsides, "bump' out the competition

Really looks good. Useful when picking up passengers from front of boat...no way to use traditional bumpers. Also keeps anchor ⚓️ chain from scratching boat.

Purchased this to attach to the inside front of a utility trailer which allows my riding mower to be strapped to the trailer tight against the frame without damage to the mower or trailer. Works perfectly.

I have several of these. Lost some different one in a storm and replaced with these. They are easy to install and stay put.

They are very light and more rigid that I am accustomed to with a bumper. I do like how the mount holes are deep inside so no chance the fastener will scratch your boat. I have a 19ft runabout and I would not use these with a larger boat as they are lightweight. I was surprised that the smooth cleat on my boat was scoring the surface as I would have expected the bumper to absorb the impact better.
