It works! I was getting sick of how quickly my brown sugar was turning into a rock so I figured I would give this a try. I am shocked at how well this works. My brown sugar is so soft now and crumbles easily. I really like the design and I think it's well made. Highly recommended!

This worked exactly as advertised. Soaked it for 15 minutes, wiped it off, put it in an airtight container with a block of brown sugar that was as hard as a brick. 24 hours later, the brown sugar was soft and moist, as if it had just come out of the bag. Amazing. I bought this brand as it's made domestically from domestically-sourced clay that is tested for food safety. There were cheaper options, but for the difference in price, I get peace of mind in addition to a perfectly functioning tool. I used this with a Rubbermaid Brilliance 7.8 Cup Container .

I absolutely love these things! They are quite good at what they do. They are meant to help keep your brown sugar soft and boy have they saved my seldom used brown sugar more than once! After you soak them in water and pat them dry, they don't get the brown sugar soggy, rather they keep it soft. Which has saved me from having to buy a new bag more than once. They don't change the smell or taste of your brown sugar at all. So far, my last one lasted about a month, and is still going strong. I plan to give these as gifts this year!

works well-have used this to keep baked goods soft-after soaking the terracotta, as directed, it adds just the right amount of moisture to the storage environment. (I have not used it with brown sugar as of yet)

I must admit I was skeptical before buying these terra cotta disks. I didn’t think anything would keep my brown sugar soft for weeks and months after opening the package. I was wrong. These disks work great! I soak them in water and add them to the open bag of brown sugar, then squeeze out the excess air close the bag as well as I can. The next time I open the bag (which may be months later) the sugar is soft, just like it was when it was first bought. I highly recommend this product for folks that love to bake. Since I no longer need to throw away rock hard brown sugar, these disks are a great value and save me money.

This adorable owl brown sugar saver, arrived quickly, was exactly as described, but the best part is that it actually works!! Like magic! I forgot to take a before photo/video of my rock hard jar of brown sugar, but I assure you, I needed a pick axe to brake it up. I’m sure you are familiar if you’re here ;) I soaked the puck as directed, made sure it was not actively wet before I placed it in my brown sugar. I checked it a few hours later, and the top half of the brown sugar was back to its glorious soft and fluffy consistency! So I gave the mix a little stir and nestled the puck a little further down, to help its humid reach to the bottom of the jar :) By the next day my once completely solid jar of brown sugar, was soft and pliable as you can see in my video♥️ I will never be without a brown sugar saver in my kitchen ever again!
