Quality, taste, and price are all extremely good!

I have been buying this organic brown rice because I try to choose more nutritious foods for my daily diet. Unlike white rice, brown rice keeps its natural fiber and nutrients like iron, potassium, and some protein. One of the main reasons I prefer it is because the fiber helps slow down absorption, which can help prevent glucose from rising as quickly compared to white rice. For me, it’s a simple way to make my meals a little more balanced without changing too much of what I’m already used to eating. Also, the fact that it’s organic gives me more confidence in the quality.

Great quality brown rice. No burnt chaff and very few broken pieces. The flavor is fantastic as well and I would call this a good budget friendly option for a decent organic brown rice.

Mahatma has great organic rices & the white rice is no exception. I use it for fried rice & steamed rice & it cooks up well & tastes great. Really like the price too.

The Mahatma brown rice cooked up beautifully. I was testing my new cook pot and rice is one of those things where you need a tight fitting lid and even heat in the latter stages of cooking. I rinsed the rice as is traditional, but very little starch came out. Old habits die hard and I rinsed 3 times, even though it was clearly unnecessary. The pot performed and the rice came out absolutely perfect. Ever so slightly on the dry side, the way I like it, each grain separate and distinct. With a little fluffing there were no clumps. Not one. Delicious! Then I realized I'd intended to make fried rice with the leftovers and perfect separation was unnecessary. Undesirable even. You want little clumps that fry on the outside and are creamy on the inside. Oops! This is one of the cleanest bags of rice I've ever used. Just realize there may be times you don't want to rinse this rice aggressively. 5 stars

The rice is good, a little on the nutty flavor side but that is okay. I like brown rice better than white rice. This was a good value
