The Real Deal
This stuff really is killer!! Didn't want to spend a lot, but after finding out how little needs used, it's actually a steal at the price. No damage to grass, just what you want gone. Easy application with just a pump sprayer. After 2 days, results are great.

Worked against major speedwell growth in lawn
I completely reseeded my lawn last fall. By march we saw lots of green, and by April it was lush and growing fast. Unfortunately by mid-april I also noticed speedwell weed throughout by lawn. In some sections where grass didn't take much it was 80% coverage, others it was just small bits. I got this product to test and hopefully solve the problem. I used a 1 gallon manual sprayer, mixing about 2-3 tbsp to the gallon, about what the directions listed. The first test I did was a small section of grass/speedwell mix to see if it would kill the grass too. After about 1-2 days, the speedwell was looking limp, slightly withered, and showing yellow color. The green lush grass was not affected visibly. After 3-4 days the speedwell appeared dead, withered and drying away beneath the grass. I started a bigger application across the main lawn, also with my manual sprayer still. There was a lot to cover. Results were positive after a few days, and I found the biggest challenge for me and my manual sprayer was just ensuring I hit all the speedwell, since it existed almost throughout the lawn. I repeated this process a few times, and the result is I am no longer walking row by row through the lawn, but now walking around looking for any remaining bits of speedwell instead to finish off. I will say, one small patch of lawn, about 2ft by 2ft, did yellow die as an overall result of this. This is out of multiple thousand square feet. I think I either went on too heavy or somehow double appiled there by mistake. So be gentle with this. The downsides, unrelated to the product--- there were parts of my newly seeded lawn that didn't seem to take, probably due to poor soil in sections, and in those sections it was 100% weed+speedwell. After applying this, I have some bare sections again lacking in green. I probably need to pickup a small bag of grass seed to re-attempt to grow there, or figure out why it didn't take previously. This bottle is high concentrate, I'm still on my first gallon of manual spray mix with just a few tbsp, and likely have enough for at least 20-30 gallons more as a wild estimate. It's still fairly expensive for a small bottle of weed killer though.

Great for killing darn weeds and keeping them gone!
I purchased this item to help me take care of my Mom's yard. She is 84 years old and has always kept her lawn looking nice. The dandelions seems to be one of the harder weeds to get rid of. This SpeedZone really does a great job of getting rid of them. I'm very glad that I bought this item.

Pricy but seems ok
Only issue is we got new Bermuda grass sod with new house last Oct. Sod didnโt have a long time to get established, but was covered with creeping Charlie in a lot of areas this winter. Landscaper said itโs ok to use roundup at half strength while the grass is dormant. Issue was itโs been a warm winter and by Feb when I finally had time to spend on the lawn, we were not certain the grass was all that dormant anymore with a lot of green showing in sunny areas. So I saw this stuff discussed in a NC forum and decided it would be better than the weed-b-gone I used previously for broad leaf weeds. It did a good job in the sunny south facing lawns with quickly less healthy looking creeping Charlie. Wide spread full killing has been slower. I used 1 oz/gal in a hand pump sprayer and used a fine spray to cover the weeds. I measured sections using our lot map so could be close to 1gal/1000ft2. After a few weeks I did a second treatment and now seeing clear signs of weeds dying off, 2-3 wks later. Any other broadleaf weeds quickly died. This creeping Charlie seems to be a tough one. With a few good warm sunny days recently, I set mower a bit high and bagged everything hoping to improve appearance and hopefully capture the majority of any seeds it might have generated since most had gone to flower before I sprayed them. Anyway, with about a month now gone, the sod is looking much better with far less weeds and the remaining creeping Charlie continuing to die.

Shockingly effective - by far the best I've used
A few years ago I made the mistake of using unsterile top dressing soil, and ever since my lawn has been overrun with some of the toughest weeds around โ clover, creeping Charlie, wild violet, speedwell, broadleaf plantain, and dandelions. I tried everything including Bayer All-in-One, but nothing made a real dent. Then I tried Speed Zone. Within about a week, everything was dead. All of it. I was genuinely shocked at how well it worked, especially on the wild violet and creeping Charlie which had laughed at every other product I threw at them. If you're fighting a stubborn, mixed weed problem and nothing is working, stop wasting time and money โ Speed Zone is the real deal. It's the only weed killer I'll be buying from here on out.
