In my experience of them these drives are reliable
I have purchased many of these drives, mainly for storing video files for playback on Windows 10 and 11 laptops and from an old Freeview platform broadcast TV video recorder/player. The drive includes a data activity LED. I have not encountered any problems with them and would recommend them.

Good purchase
A sturdy case, handy cable holders. Good product.

Doesn't do what it says it does
The product was difficult to configure if you are not used to IT, I had to ask someone on a computer store. I bought the product as it is meant to be strong. I bought it in July 2022, it started beeping and ceased working on 1st Nov 2023. I have used the product portably, and been extremely careful with it, no drops or jolts. I will be looking for a stronger replacement in future and have been recommended a Buffalo hard drive.
