Pulteney Stroma Malt Whisky Liqueur, 50 cl

A nice liqueur, it’s sweet and does have a taste of whisky.

What a fantastic whisky, very smooth on the pallet and goes down a treat, I'm not a fan of drinking malts straight but this is far superior to other malts that I have had the pleasure of having.. I will be purchasing again and again, once tasted you will see what I mean. Good luck to all who try STROMA MALT I'm sure like me you will enjoy the experience over and over again.

Not too strong making it easy to drink. Doesnt need to be mixed as it is smooth. The bottle is a stunning display on any shelf. Great price too

When purchasing a bottle (50cl) of my favourite whisky liqueur - Atholl Brose - a friend said I should try Stroma - his favourite. I looked on Amazon and ordered it and would say that delivery was very quick. Strange that this can be posted yet so many other less liquid or at least less viscose items cannot be sent by post! I have tried my favourite Atholl Brose alongside Stroma tonight and:- Stroma smells more like a neat whisky Atholl Brose smells more like a liqueur Both taste like a liqueur, but Stroma tastes if there's some neat whisky mixed with it (my impression) Neither are as sweet as Drambuie or Glayva, which to me are far too sweet. I note that Stroma has just gone up in price from the £22 I paid to over £25. In any case I still prefer Atholl Brose which retails about £21. Amazon has a cheaper price but a high postage charge - look in your local wine store! Verdict - Stroma is nice, and would be my second choice whisky liqueur, but as it doesn't match up to Atholl Brose I can only award it 4 stars.

Simply THE best whisky liqueur ever. Very smooth on the palate with honeyed sweetness added to Old Pultney Malt Whisky. Perfect over ice. Makes a great gift.

Beautiful liqueur and my wife’s favourite ever. Smooth, more ish and a very good price. It’s such a shame it has been discontinued.

I love this product but it is sweet. Quite suiteble to serve as a desert. A tip to those who think its too sweet. Try making a "Rusty spike" type cocktail by mixing with whisky (a nice scotch or single malt), I do it 50-50, up to you how sweet you want it. Serve it on the rocks or straight, whatever you prefere. Some peopel, I'm sure, are horrified that I "waste" fine single malt on a cocktail but you dont have to use the fanciest stuff. I use the regular Bushmill's malt, works fime for me. I tried Burbon(Makers Mark) but that dident work so well.

Assaggiato per la prima volta in Scozia, ne sono rimasta affascinata! Non amo il whisky, quindi il commesso del negozio mi ha suggerito di assaggiare questo liquore di whisky dal sapore che sorprende, molto piacevole e morbido. Mai trovato nei negozi in Italia, sono felice di averlo ritrovato su Amazon!

Excelente licor de whisky muy difícil de encontrar en este país, y que en Amazon tienes por un precio razonable. El envío fue rápido y la botella venía muy bien embalada y protegida.

Gusto particolare, molto dolce, piacevole al palato.Confezione piccola 1/2 litro bisogna centellinarlo a piccole dosi. Non l' ho mai trovato in Italia.
