Fits DLC8-Plus Updated
Had to replace the top on my DLC8-plus after 33 years. I called cuisinart they said this model lid would fit, but they didn’t have one in stock. It just arrived and it fits perfectly :). Hummus tonight yippee :) After using this many many times I've discovered that it doesn't fit perfectly. Like pants after Thanksgiving something gives after a bit. While using with blade or shredder, so it doesn't matter if its top or bottom cutting, it kicks itself out of safety. This isn't dangerous, it just means that I have to hold it so it doesn't twist. That's all. Still grateful I didn't have to buy an entire new machine :)

The original one broke and this was just what I needed. Works great 👍.

Didn’t fit my machine
Very slow shipping and when it finally arrived was the wrong size for my machine.

I am very surprised it came undamaged ! I photo'd the box prior to opening. Smashed in on one side... but it was pristine when opened and tried :-)

Fit Issues
Doesn’t fit well with older parts. Fortunately, we have a newer bowl to use it with. What’s the Peter Principal corollary? Oh, yeah… Interchangeable parts aren’t.

Cuisinart food processor
As described. When changing these be sure to by the upgraded bowl, top and push tube. I learned to change to the matching parts ending in txt. Well made and hope they last as long as the original

Looks right, but fits a bit loose
This cover fits our DLC-8 sort of good, but it does not fit as snug as the one that we replaced. It does not click in as tight as the old one and there is a hair of an inch of slop. This makes the machine not work unless you put a bit of pressure on the top of the cover with your hand. Otherwise you push the on button and it just sits there. If I could stretch out the spring on the base I think it would tighten up but the spring is sealed inside and no way to get to it without tearing it apart (breaking it). But still it sort of fits and we might be able to solve the loose fit some way. Maybe we just got a defective one. But I think they all come from the same mold. Anyway, we are making do with it, but not as good as the original, which in my opinion there is not good excuse for that.
