Description

Rowan Thalassar has protected the seas from the beginning. He's powerful, arrogant, and believes that Humans are only good as tools to help him with his dirty work. When a sea witch confines part of his soul to a pendant he is not able to possess himself, he spends thousands of years searching for someone worthy to retrieve it for him. Sophie Brown has worked tirelessly to earn her dive position at the local nautical museum. No handouts. No trust fund. When her boss Chet decides to single her out, pressure builds to find a piece to impress him and secure her place among the team. On the last dive of a shipwreck, Sophie feels a pull to a cave outside of the dive zone. Inside she finds a glowing pendant that calls to her. Rowan hunts Sophie down to retrieve the pendant. This Human does not fear him, and she will not give up the object he desires so easy. Sophie is tossed into a whole new world she never imagined, and Rowan's perception of the world is rattled as he starts to fall for the Human diver that wants nothing to do with him. What will happen when a Serpent God finally meets his match?
