This works very well. I can drain battery power packs (brand new pack) and charge with a different device to see watt hours it takes. I can test cables and see the voltage drop at different currents to see cable resistance and supply capability.

Excellent for checking USB-C Power Delivery profiles and sustained load output. Useful for confirming voltage steps (5V/9V/15V/20V), monitoring amperage draw, and validating cable capability. The data accumulation feature is helpful for longer testing sessions. Small form factor but still very capable. Great addition for anyone who likes understanding their power setup in detail.

The adjustable USB load doesn't have a case, just an exposed PC board. So be careful. You could probably walk across the carpet and zap it with a fatal electrostatic discharge. This is a test tool, so that's okay. Just be sure to practice safe ESD control behavior. Touch a grounded object before touching the USB load. The multi-turn potentiometer works great. The instructions are poorly organized but if you read the whole instruction sheet you can easily understand what the controls do. This is a very simple device.

I do have one minor complaint in that this really just tests at 5v without having something extra, the voltage range warnings made me think the voltage was adjustable. This was probably on me for not doing enough research and it doesn't really matter for what I need to test, but I was hoping I could set it to 9v and 12v USB PD for extra testing. The description of the product didn't do a good job making this clear so I can't give the full 5 stars. Other than than this product works great. This will be useful for capacity testing some of the more questionable things I've purchased when used in conjunction with my usb power meter. A better solution than plugging my usb fan, light, and whatever else i can find into a usb hub. tl;dr Be aware that 'as is' this will only run at 5v even if the power bank or charger could deliver higher voltages.

For testing usb devices this thing kicks butt. Its led readout is fairly close on amperage limits and the fan will kick on auto at a certain temp or above a certain wattage. Used with a usb meter i was able to test usb a and c-pd (using the A port on meter) chargers from 5v to 20v. Its really good for testing voltage drop from chargers and cables.

Used win conjunction with a Klein tester, this provides a stable load for testing

Everything worked great. I don't have an independent way of checking accuracy, but it seemed right to me.

Funciona muy bien y es bastante preciso. Según las mediciones que he hecho, la corriente que se solicita sólo está desviada por 0.01A en mi unidad, lo cual es poco. Mi única observación es que el potenciometro esta un poco suelto, les faltó soldarlo completamente plano a la placa. Pero no tengo problemas, funciona excelente por el precio.

The device works well however we can only achieve 17W for some reason. We have had to use additional loads to boost the amount for our testing to 25W which wasn't ideal.

very helpfull and good testing device good for testing power bank claims that saw well we put out 15v @ 1,5 amp well this meter you can set it to that load and than see if you some the power bank and believe me ive smoked a few with it just going 10% under normal limit from a good brand power bank seems some brands over charge their power banks a bit in the price range 20-40 euro watch it almost all fail tests and kinda begin to get verry hot to stop test for safe reasons.
