This item is a really nice looking unit which warms up our bathroom in no time at all the plug you can remove so it's easy to extend the cable if you wish to plug it in to a loft wire . no more shivering in the bathroom .

I have installed one of these heaters on my garage wall. It provides a good source of quick heat when I want to keep warm while working in my garage. I have deducted one star as the installation process is not easy. At one point you need to refit two bolts behind the main unit, after fixing the bracket to the wall, which is fiddly and needs access from both left and right sides of the heater. Also, watch for the two small retaining nuts in the bracket - these fall out easily, and if lost prevent you completing the installation. A good point is that the heater is supplied with a mains lead and cable fitted with a 13 amp plug (cable about 1.5 metres long). Finally, I believe this heater is rated for indoor use only, therefore not suitable for use as a patio heater.

This is a real pain to fit, not thought through at all and I have a lot of experience too. You need to take the front section where the heater is to get to the fixings for screwing it to the wall, nothing unusual there. This involves taking off two screw head bolts, one either side that fixes the front to the back., no problem with this. Before screwing it to the wall with 4 screws, you pop the 2 screw nut heads into the rear fixing plate, this is where the fun starts, they aren't retained fully, so when you tip the plate against the wall to fix the screws into the wall, the nuts fall out of their places. Did this 3 times, whilst you are holding the rear plate in place, with the front heated section hanging down, so not easy to do and keep level. after 3 attempts, I then fut a dab of silicon around the bolts to keep them in place. This worked, however, getting the 2nd screw bolt to line up with the nut was a real pain. It took me ages, ant then you realise that there is a spring loaded ball bearing that clicks into place when you move the front up and down, which has fallen out when you take the front off the back plate, I had no idea it was there or likely to fall out - lost that completely. It's also a very tinny unit, not the best quality.

Do not buy this. Some of the reviews are acceptable and i have no idea why. Bad reviewers? I bought two. Both of them broke in 8 minutes. Before anyone suggests it was the power supply, i have another halogen heater that works perfectly on the power supply. There are two bulbs per unit. The first bulb broke within 30 seconds, the second and third bulbs were under 5 minutes, then the final fourth bulb on the 8th minute. I had a photo when i turned them on, so i knew how long they lasted exactly. Will shortly be on to amazon customer support as this is just wasting my time. Faffy to set up as well. I feel like charging them for my wasted time.

When I received this item it has surface scratches and only heats up just halfway, it is used for the bathroom

Great little heater for summer house . Takes the chill off brilliantly. Would recommend. Well worth the money
