Tough and Light
Awesome quality, I bought my first pair from Dec 2019 and still holding strong. They take a lot of abuse from walking all day in my work boots and steel toes boots. I’m 220 lbs with rough feet, so that says a lot about its durability. I’ve bought 12 more pairs since then. I have size 12 extra wide orthopedic shoes, I wear their 2XL-3XL size. They are somewhat snug to get, but once on they compress well. No pain or discomfort. I do wish they have thicker padding on the bottom.

Great quality, very reasonable price for high compression mixed with comfort.
Very good quality for a reasonable price. I have a medical condition that requires me to wear at least 20-30mm compression socks pretty much every day. I’m in my 40’s and prefer the look of athletic compression stockings (rather than the medical appearance of the ones made for edema etc...). But, the compression quality of the blue and black pairs of the Thirty 48 brand of athletic socks is just as good in my opinion, as any of the medical brands. They are far more comfortable and easy to put on than the medical grade stockings too. I did notice that the most recent time that I purchased the socks, the sizing options were different than they had been in the past. There used to be three or four size choice options, but the last time I purchased, there were apparently only two size choice options. I got the smaller of the choices, but that size was still larger than the smallest size I had previously purchased. It worked out okay for me (womanwith a size 8 foot) but, if you are a particularly petite woman, I’m not sure that the socks will be tight enough if there are just the two size options. I’m a little heavier now than I used to be, so the small/mediums size is working out for me now, but if I was 20lb lighter, I think I woul need the option of the smaller size that was previously available. That had been one of my favorite things about the brand- that the smallest size fit my somewhat shorter-than-average and thinner-than-average calf size at that point in my life. Now, the smaller of the two sizes is fitting my foot and just barely avoiding being too tall for my calves. But, I think this size might have been too big if my calves were still very thin. For me, these socks are s great fit, great value. I have pairs that I have had for four to five years, and they are still in quite useable condition with good compression and no holes despite many years of wear and many many trips through the washing machine..... so VERY durable and long-lasting. Lastly, these socks don’t cause itching for me! Any of the medical-grade products seem to be constructed of a material that I find very itchy after wearing all day. These socks still have a very elastic-feel, but don’t cause the itchiness that I,personally, find is common among the medical-grade stockings/socks.

Almost perfect, if they were consistent.
I wear compression socks to to venous insufficiency in my left leg. I have tried many brands over the years and decided to try these. My issue with these socks is they are inconsistent. There are two pairs with the order, and one pair (the light blue) may be the best pair of compression socks I've ever owned. The fit is amazing - they are very comfortable and I can wear them all day with no issues. But the other pair (the black) don't quite fit the same. They seem to be just barely smaller, and after I wore them a few times they started not staying up over my calf, to the point where they slide down halfway on my leg and it almost feels like a tourniquet halfway up my shin. If both pairs were the same this would be a five star review. So I end up just wearing one pair of these socks. The one pair is so good that I will probably try these again, but if I have the same issue I will send them back.

It's a great product - but probably not for "beginners"
This is a classic below-the-knee strong compression product (20-30 pressure), made of the best materials for this kind of product - a durable and "comfortable" nylon/lycra blend. But it's probably too heavy a pressure for people unused to this type of product and might be a bit uncomfortable for anyone in very warm weather. A starter pressure might be in the 10-20 range, unless a doctor specifies the heavier pressure. A good lighter-pressure product ( and very comfortable even in warmer weather) is offered by Dr. Scholl's in this below-the-knee 10-20 pressure range to get started. Whatever you choose should probably be in the $10/pair range & this particular product at below $20 for 2 pairs is a very good value. Above-the-knee products are a whole different matter & if knee protection is important an ankle-to-above-knee spandex "sleeve" works very well with below-the-knee compression products. Most of these compression products work well with a thick cotton-blend, well-cushioned over-sock to protect the heel and sole of the foot, as well as the compression sock itself. Amazon seems prepared to ship this particular item extremely quickly, and did so in this case!

Best socks so far
I tried less expensive ones (8 for $20) and they don't work as well as these. I have long thin legs and these deliver the compression I need. Others just felt like regular socks. They are great for downhill skiing too. The smooth material slides right into to boot easily and I've never been cold (although I do have heated boots, so maybe that's why).

Good compression, okay quality
These are the best socks I've gotten in terms of compression but I've only worn them about 4-5 times and the heels are already starting to show signs of wear.

Good feel and fit
I have had about 20 pairs of compression socks in the past year. And I feel these work best for me. The most important feature with these socks are the fact that they are meant to go specifically on the right or left foot. This eliminates the sock from bunching at the little toe or from you having to pull the sock up tight and hurting your big toe. Some people have complained about the socks being too tight. Compression socks are rated on the range for compression. These socks are rated at a 20-30mmHg compression. This is the tightest sock I ware for all day use. If you need something less tight you can get a 15-20mmHg or a 10-20mmHg sock. Overall good value for this sock at this compression and the ability to specifically on the right and left foot.
