Oracoat Xylimelts, 40 Count

While using a CPAP my mouth gets really dry. A respiratory therapist once removed his dentures, set them on his desk in front of me, and then warned me that dry mouth would cause loss of teeth, just as it had done with him. It wasn't until a dental hygienist recommended Xylimelts that I discovered a solution. I found that Xylimelts not only encourage saliva production but they help neutralize acids in my mouth while I sleep. (Doesn't acid encourage cavities?) I awakened with a moist and cleaner-tasting mouth. Now when I attempt to reorder, I find they are not available. That's a bummer!

Like many people, medications I take cause dry mouth. Sipping water all day might work, but I hated the waking dry mouth. I have tried everything. Most were either short term, or I couldn't stand the feel of some gels in my mouth. Tried these, and I have not been without these since. I use EVERY night, and carry them in my purse for days. Genius - they stay in place against your gum and THEY WORK. Seem to be out of stock on Amazon a lot - but available in drugstores. I buy multiples at a time to avoid having to spend a night without!

Love these mints. I used to use a cough drop at night along with Biotine rinse. These work much better, and love that they stick to the inside of your gum and last for hours.
