I watched a YouTube video on how to clear a blocked printer head, I purchased this as it represented the best value in terms of the amount of cleaning fluid I could find. Followed the instructions that came with the kit which were the same as the video but with information added - like leaving the printer off and leaving at least 5 hours after applying the fluid, So the magenta on my Epson printer refused to print even after many cleaning cycles, so I tried this kit before buying a new printer, left it to act over night did two head cleaning and the magenta is working fine and I have plenty of cleaning fluid for any further blockages. Arrived quickly and did the job.

Solution used to clear a partial blockage of the Cyan jet in an Epson WF-7710 printer. Instructions followed, however, purging of the jet was required 4 or 5 times over a week to finally clear the nozzle. I found that purging out all the ink both in the direction of ink flow and back into the syringe was necessary then leaving clean fluid in the nozzle overnight seemed to be the best method. Also printing a full page of Cyan stripes was a quick way of purging out the solution and replacing it with ink again. Perhaps printing a page of C-M-Y stripes every day might be a way of preventing nozzle blockage.

It doesn't work to clean the printer.

I needed this to clean and unblock a Canon printhead for a printer that had not used for 18 months. Luckily this printer has a removable printhead so was very simple to do. I added the solution and left it for 5 or so hours then emptied container used and then did another application and left it overnight. I refitted the printhead this morning and after a couple of machine based cleaning routines it works! Very pleased!

The product is very good

Foobarred (effed up) my Epson Ecotank 4550. I bought this as my printer had a blockage in the print heads meaning it left gaps and was printing poorly, but it still worked, enough for very rough drafts. After using this cleaning solution and running I don't know how many cleaning cycles (say a dozen) the printer was showing more streaks than before but I figured this was a by product of pushing liquid through the print heads. I had to leave for business so figured I would continue on my return. Resumed the cleaning and NOTHING CAME OUT OF THE PRINTER HEADS. Ran another dozen or so head cleaning cycles. Still nothing. Wrote to the seller asking for a smaller tube for the other nozzles and was told that it basically comes with one and that is that. In subsequent correspondence (late on a Sunday so kudos for responsiveness) Ecotanks are not covered as they are a CISS (continuous ink supply system) and have different nozzles. Would have been good to know beforehand and for a small enough tube to be made available. I will try to solve the completely blocked printer head another way or seek some way of getting a small enough tube to apply enough pressure through the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow print heads. The positive reviews notwithstanding this product has been a total disaster for me and my 4550. Waste of money and ruined my, albeit imperfect, Epson Ecotank 4550.

My Epson 2550 Eco-tank was printing with a very strong pink hue. I’d done all the printer maintenance from the menu but to no avail, so - rather than ditch the printer - I thought I’d give this a try. I followed a very good You Tube video and this product actually worked. My printer is now producing good prints and I used a minuscule amount of this cleaning fluid from the very large bottle.
