Reveals your cat's movement habits!
I did two weeks of internet research to find a pet tracker. I highly recommend this Cat Tailer! It is better than any other tracking device I have seen for cats. My cat "Miyu" is strictly an indoor cat. She constantly finds new hiding places in the house which means it can take me up to 20 minutes to locate her when I need to take her to the vet or elsewhere. I have had the Cat Tailer has immediately eliminated this problem. It is a very sensible and effective device for tracking my cat. All of the trackers I looked at are marginally practical for dogs, but impractical and too big for a cat. Most GPS trackers have only a few days of battery life. That worries me because it is most likely that a pet will get lost just when the tracking device is almost out of battery charge. It is not practical or convenient to have to pay a monthly fee, and have to re-charge a tracking device every night or every week unless you are doing special scientific studies on animal behavior! I just want my cat back... not track her through the neighborhood for a few days! The Cat Tailer and its battery is a simple set-up and forget device. I can tell by the battery meter on my phone that it has a long time to go before I have to replace the battery. And that is a comfort to me. As to the accuracy of the distance, well, my advice is that you have to learn how to use it for your situation. It is not a measuring device... it is an active distance averaging device. The Cat Tailer gives you a general idea of where your cat is by measuring how frequent and far it is moving from your point. It is a behavioral motion monitor, and you have to learn how to interpret the behavior in terms of distance read-out pattern to find your cat. That is not a hard thing to learn to do. People who wrote negative reviews about the inaccuracy of the distance and that the distance numbers jump around when the cat is in one place, etc. do not understand the nature of how radio signal propagation works. The radio design is a simple raw signal emitted by the Cat Tailer as a “ping" that by nature "echoes" as it hits structures in the environment. It is like the wind. You have to ignore the frequent variations in the numbers, be patient, and watch the pattern of highs and lows, and interpret how it works. Once you establish a pattern of how the Cat Tailer operates in your environment, then you will understand how to use it to fit your needs. In the past week, I have always located my cat... no more time consuming "hide and seek" with Miyu! If she ever escaped outdoors, then I know the battery charge is strong enough to find her in a few days if necessary. Here is some advice: The Cat Tailer should be taped with a strip of electrical tape directly around the collar (in addition to its fastening ring) to prevent it from hanging down below the neck! It makes it a neater part of the collar by not banging into food and water bowls. Miyu did not like the hanging pod. Also, I think the flashing light can be useful, but watch to see if it disturbs the cat when sleeping, because it is quite bright when it flashes. If Miyu needs to hide, the light could tip off a predator as to where she is and attack her. I prefer to keep it off for now. So, Ambystoma Labs, The Cat Tailer is well done in design and practicality! While a few people said it was overpriced, I think it is worth what you pay for it when you consider the benefits the Cat Tailer's solid and simple design and reliability brings, and what it ultimately delivers... your cat back to you alive, safe, and healthy!

Bluetooth Tracker
This is blue tooth not GPS. GPS is great but those are huge and need charging every day. GPS will tell you exactly where your cat is. This Bluetooth tracker is a "hotter or colde" basically, telling how many feet they are away. It would work better for my area if my neighbors didn't have all the outbuildings and sheds that skew the results. But I have gotten the hang of it using them so much I know what to expect. I have two, one for each cat. Customer service is amazing. I walk my cats on harnesses but they tend to get away sometimes when they run in two different directions! So these are very helpful in my situation. The battery lasts for months. I gave it four stars as it's not GPS capabilities. Until GPS trackers get smaller, this is the tracker for us.

Without this my cat would still be missing
This tracker saved my cat's life!! He was way out of his normal range and nearly 30 feet up a tree. Many people believe that if cats get hungry enough they will climb down. While that may be true for some, not all cats are able to. The tracker is frustrating in a lot of ways- its accuracy is probably about 60-70%, partly because there's often a big lag. Even in the more battery hungry tracking mode where it is constantly updating, I can walk 50 feet or more and the distance it says the cat's at doesn't change. That being said, I was able to use it (with a LOT of patience!) to get within roughly 100 feet of my cat. The tracker wouldn't narrow the distance any closer than that, but at least I knew where to call for him. Finally I heard him cry, and after several more minutes of frantic hunting, saw him up in a tree. I'll be honest- under normal circumstances I would only give this 4 stars because of how frustrating it can be to use, and the fact that no matter how many times I turn off the annoying flashing green light, it always turns itself back on. But I was driving around with the tracker and it alerted in a place I never thought my cat would go to, and I wouldn't have looked for him in. For that, it gets 5 stars and my enthusiastic recommendation! I would love a gps tracker for my cat, but from the research I've done, they are expensive, much heavier than this tracker (more meant for dogs than cats) and need to be charged every few days. And they likely won't work well in my area. The battery in this tracker lasts several months before it needs to be changed. So you could still use it even if your cat was missing for a few weeks or a couple months, as long as they still had their collar on.

Hello, I've thoroughly tested this tracker and here are my observations: 1. This is a Bluetooth dependant product. This means that if your cat is behind a big physical object the reading you will get will be fairly inaccurate. ie: My cat was in my neighbour's backyard, however my tracker displayed 44m when in reality the distance was more around 20m. 2. The tracker's radius works (fairly) accurately for 40m-50m in a suburban area. 3. It requires effort on your behalf to make it work the way you want to, if you spot your cat via the app you will need to find the direction it is in by walking north, east, south, west until you determine the direction your furry buddy is. In other words it's trial and error. In conclusion, if you lose your cat (with the collar equipped) this product would be perfect for determining where your cat is hiding. A walk around the neighbourhood will 100% reveal your cat's location (unless the cat is underground). The tracker is also pretty useful for when your cat wants to come back inside! It also has a bonus feature of telling you when your cat leaves the collar range or comes back inside of it. Overall, amazing product if you don't want to pay 15$/month for a paid subscription GPS tracker.

El producto Cat taller recibido NO tiene las funcionalidades que anuncian, es un fraude. No tiene el alcance que ofrecen y no despliega mapa de geolicalizacion, tampoco es verdad el rastreo por sonido.
