Does the timer work well?

It works pretty good. It's not spot on accurate but works well with the classroom set.

I gave this to my 3-year-old great niece for Christmas who was very into playing school & she loved it! Everything worked as expected & her parents reported that the bell wasn’t too loud & annoying.
