I ordered this because I needed to keep some medication cold for an extended period during a 10 day trip in Europe. Anyone who has ever traveled in Europe knows that they don't have ice machines or refrigerators in most hotel rooms. I needed to have my meds stay cool for a few days and this did the trick. The cold pack held it's temp for 4 days, I like that it shows me what the temp actually is from the display, it has room enough for several Vial of medicine. Very sturdy construction. Just a very well made container. While it doesn't suggest this, I put the bottom section (Not the top with the digital display) also in the freezer with the cold pack to give it a little extended cool time. Seems to help give it almost an extra day. Then I put it all together and stick it in my suitcase. I did travel once with it in my carry on and the TSA wanted to inspect it (which they did) but it passed.

works well; TSA feels like they need to open it, but even when that happens, it stays cool enough to keep the insulin chilled for a full travel day . . . holds 2 or 3 pens, depending on their size

I have a couple meds which need to be kept cold. I fly a lot for work and pleasure - I’ve never had it questioned going through security. It looks like a water bottle - I pull it out and tell TSA it’s medication - they open it sometimes and put it back no questions. Also it stays cold enough for days! I keep it closed and store it in the fridge in my room it’s still mostly frozen when I get home from a 4 day trip. Great product! Thank you!

The first item was defective. The temperature display does not come on. I was sent a new item right away. Great customer service. They were truly concerned about me being happy. The replacement works great. Just a tap on top of the lid shows the internal temperature. The temp stays cold for a really long time.

Traveled very well to Japan. Kept meds cool for @ least 24 hrs

I bought this item to use on a very long plane trip without access to refrigeration. At first I was disappointed because it did not stay cold for as long as advertised. I contacted the manufacturer who was VERY responsive and sent me a second cooler right away. This one is more than perfect - after 30 hours it was still 34 degrees! I can definitely recommend this product.

Used product and/or possibly defective. Every few seconds, the temperature shows on the lid. At least, for a little while then it'll stop. If I touch lid once, then ever few seconds for a long while it'll come on repeatedly. It's also sitting at 33 degrees for coming up on 14 hours, a bit too cold for meds but great long term storage IF accurate, however, since the lid seems to be defective I'm unsure if it's actually 33 degrees as I opened and checked on ice block after 14 hours and it seems cool but nowhere near frozen. I'm pretty disappointed in this product. Also, with the ice block in the container, it leaves hardly no room for any pens and/or vials! I had a hard time with one vial and a few syringes. It also does have a lip inside making getting the medication out a pain. Unfortunately returning for another brand. It also came with scratches on the contain so mightve been previously used?? Yet another return to Amazon for a subpar product

I bought this to store my autologous serum eye drops. It worked great to keep my drops cold because they must remain refrigerated at all times. I was concerned that the cooler would keep the drops cold for an extended period of time during car and air travel but the cooler worked as described. It easily kept my drops cold for 24 hours and I feel confident it would have kept them colder for longer if needed. I have traveled through airport security with the cooler several times with no problem. I have also left the cooler in a warm/hot car for 6-8 hours and my drops remained cold. This cooler has made traveling for me much easier because I do not have to worry about my drops spoiling due to not remaining cold. I would highly recommend for storing medications that need to remain cold as long as they fit in the cooler. I actually wish there was one that was shorter and smaller because I do not need a cooler this big to store my eye drops but I am still very pleased with this cooler.
