Still good after 5-6 years!
Had this thing for about 5-6 years now? No problems and it’s going strong! Don’t know much about computers a whole lot, not like an enthusiast but I know I needed one good enough to play games with. It’s pretty good, lots of usb ports. I’d say it’s budget friendly at the time and my budget was about $1100.

3rd ASUS Motherboard
These are excellent motherboards, my 3rd one in 10 or so years. The only issue that I have is with this motherboard and there are 2. 1) The user's manual is in Chinese. WHY? I live in the USA and I bought this in the USA but the manual is in Chinese. 2) The included DVD, why a DVD I don't understand, but the DVD errors out on installing the drivers. I even tried my internal ASUS DVD burner and an external USB HP DVD drive and they both fail reading from the included DVD. ASUS provides and excellent in gaming motherboards in general except this time they fumbled a bit. Will this atop me from buying ASUS products in the future? NO A bit disconcerting is that upon registering on the ASUS website, this shows up as a Warranty Expired, why is that if I purchased this as brand new?

Great BIOS Auto OC Capability
I haven't built my own PC for quite a few years but decided to do so again. This new board is amazing. There are a ton of detailed technical reviews on-line so I won't go into all of that here, but this board was the best value for the money that I found after hours of extensive research. I'm using the I7-9700K with some Overclock, 3200 DDR, and two Samsung 970 Storage NvMe's. I've also added a GigaByte 2070 Super. When I benchmark my PC it always achieves "UFO" status, and is in the top percentages, and I am not tuning it just for the high benchmarks. It hits this benchmark with extreme stability. The "Automatic OC" Bios setting of this motherboard is a fantastic capability. A few BIOS tweaks, and then using that setting and this board makes everything run at the extreme. It made my PC build a breeze.

ASUS ROB Strix
this is my third time to buy this motherboard because im always doing water cooling and i make a mistake and always burn them out all my fault no more water cooling. I bought another one why because its my favorite motherboard it does everything i need for a advance gaming compute also its quality and the RGB is awesome. I have 11 RGB fans and led lights on this thing and it does it all. For the money you're not going to find a better one with out paying a grand so i love it .

This board will not let you down!
Extremely well made mobo! They thought of everything. Well placed fan headers, nice rgb lighting, built in I/O shield is convienent but not necessary. OC my delidded I7 8700k to 5.0ghz with out a sweat. BIOS is well layed out and easy to navigate. Only minor complaint is the size of the I/O front shielding where the RGB is. In can make plugging in the CPU header hard to reach. However if you realize this as your installing you can avoid such a headache. Also comes with a small vmos fan to keep them cool under your awesome OC's you can do with this motherboard. Highly recommend and will be using one on my next build. Good job Asus. Well done.

Beautiful
I got one mobo that was DOA. Amazon fixed the issue quickly. The safe locks on the mobo is supporting my heavy video card without a issue. It is beautiful and works well. It only has one RGB addressable port yet three RGB headers so thats a bummer as all my fans are RGB addressable. The aura sync seems to work well. I just run a rainbow. If it breaks I will be sure to say so. Only downside is I had to wait almost two weeks for the DOA one to come in. The replacement was to me in three days.

Terrible RMA Support
The first product I ordered was damaged and I noticed immediately and sent it back and requested a replacement from Amazon. No issues there, other than inconvenience and waiting. The second one I got and installed without issue - worked great for a year. Never touched anything, default settings, etc. Very happy up to that point with the motherboard. After a year - I was doing an MS update and rebooted the computer and it just shut down, would not reboot. No power, no nothing... Called support and after an hour plus hold time and then some basic troubleshooting - they decide to RMA the device. Fair enough. I request an advanced replacement as I wanted to get it replaced quickly. They stated that you have to call you can next week and set that up. Ok great - now I have to wait 2-3 days. A week goes by and they call and tell me that they don't have any replacements and I have to ship it in for repair. I am annoyed that it took that long but whatever - I get a label and ship it in. Now I am already about 7-8 days past my first call and still with no motherboard. I wait a week for them to get the device and am tired of waiting on status so I go to thier website and click status update and they tell me that it was "Customer Induced Damage" and that I have to pay $170 to repair (the cost of a new motherboard). They have a picture here with a scratch on the side of the motherboard and something on the pins of the CPU. First off - not sure about the scratch - if that was there - it was there when I purchased it but it didn't affect it working for over a year. As for whatever the fuzz is on the CPU pins - that was was not there when I shipped it. In fact - I was worried about something getting on the pins, so I covered it with some of the electrostatic bag and snapped down the holder. No way it would have worked for over a year with that. So they have me jump through hoops for a warranty repair for almost a month and then deny my RMA saying that I induced the damage. That makes no sense what so ever. What benefit would I have to want to replace a motherboard with the same item? ASUS has some good products and I have been a loyal customer for 15 years with many many ASUS products, but this is the first time I have had to deal with an RMA and its crap. This is not how you treat loyal ASUS customers. Update: after disputing their findings they agreed to replace and sent me a new one. Annoyed that I had to fight with them on this but satisfied with end result. Changing from 1 Star to 4

Functions as it should
I ordered this after first installing an ASRock Killer Ali/ac z370 MB from the egg website. That MB did not work. As a first time builder I figured I would spend more and try the upgraded Asus MB. Installed the processor, water cooler and plugged it in and it fired right up. It has very easy to understand BIOS and not only functions well but looks great with the RGB lights. I am not a pro builder nor will I over lock so this was more than I needed but unlike ASRock this MB works out of the box.

Tell me, Do you RGB? You will (After buying this)
Good motherboard with detailed manual and very good BIOS Looks nice But anyone buying this should ideally visit the official support page and check the product vendor guide (that will tell you what all cpu and ram were tested with the motherboard)

First time builder approves
This MB is a beast! and a tough on at that! First time build here and am proud as can be this thing runs smooth and no issues what so ever! Came in good time, all the parts/swag was in the box...it wasn't in a sealed box or a sealed bag which freaked me out at first until I looked online and found out they don't seal their hardware because sometimes they update the bios before shipping. I didn't have to do any updating to get windows to work it was plug and play in that regard. I also installed 2 M2 drives on the board and the was super easy to configure them in RAID0. I would stay clear of the ai suite as the board is superior as far as fan set up and there are far better options for updating the bios and at the end...it is like a virus to try to get rid of :/ I recommend this product and will always buy Asus Mobos!
