If you use your own Firewall, Buy This!

I have been using Mobile Data since 2003 and these days use it as a backup and this is by far the best device I have ever used. My WAN on my firewall is set to DHCP mode and this device is set to automatically configure T-Mobile and AT&T. I have T-Mobile so imagine my surprise when looking at the lights it appeared to already be on the network. IP Passthrough is enabled by default so my WAN picked up that address from T-Mobile rather than a local one which is the case when you plug in a Mobile Hotspot to USB and it becomes a usb nic such as the ZTE Z915 creating an additional NAT.The default LAN address of this device is 192.168.2.1 and it does have DHCP enabled for that but I believe the IP Passthrough defeats that which is fine, I want my WAN to show the address T-Mobile assigned me rather than 192.168.2.100 or something. I simply added a virtual IP to my WAN interface on OPNsense as 192.168.2.2 and was able to log in.One more thing, if you use Firefox or any other Gecko engined browser, the firmware which Multi Tech is very forthcoming to give you at their website, needs to be Firmware v2.04, it came with Firmware v2.03 which had difficulty with Firefox.Enjoy the screenshots, I fuzzed out a few things just to be safe.
