Rear Cap not removable!! Be warned ** New Update**
Just got the flashlight delivered. It's well built and have sufficient brightness which will work even in pitch black nights. The recharging port is covered by a flimsy flap; probably will protect some water splashes but not sure about submerging it in water. The unit I received appeared to have a rear cap which I thought can be twist off but it doesn't according to Anker. The BIG turn off is the non replaceable battery as confirmed by the reps in Anker. If over time your battery doesn't hold charge, you are out of luck and will have to toss it as they can't be replaced. Why would they do that?. Anker reached out to me and listened to my concerns. They send me another flash light with removable rear cap with the same lumen. The only difference is its one cell instead of two. I don't mind that since the battery is replaceable. I'm very surprised and happy Anker takes care of their customers, and I'll be one for life. I'd recommend buying from Anker.

Great flashlight, performs more like a portable spot light
This is a great flashlight. The light shines as extremely bright white light, so in a dark room it lights up everything in a huge arc, wherein even the ambient light it casts is enough to see and work. Outside it cuts through the night and casts its illumination very far. Found that battery life is quite respectable, housing is durable while being slim and lite enough to fit easily into a pocket making it very portable. I also like how its rechargeable using usb cables and not needing its own adapter, the only drawback is that its a sealed unit, so when it goes it goes. If I have to gripe about something its the fact that the the power button is used for on\off and cycling through all the lighting modes, so to turn it off you have to press said button 5-6 times. Would have been better if there was a power button and then a differing mode button, but that is a very small complaint. All in all this is the best hand held flashlight I've used so far.

Amazing. 5 out of 5
5 out of 5... we have a lot to talk about, why don't you have a seat. As a deputy sheriff I use this flashlight for work. The SOS and strobe are not really needed, but I don't ever use them. I really like he high mode on zoomed in and out. The 900 lumens is really bright and when I need light, I need a lot of light, especially because I work nights. 6 hours of run time on high is amazing. The zoomed out beam is not great on medium but it does give a lot of light when zoomed in. Very usable for indoors. 13 hours run time is awesome. Low is a little underwhelming. Especially zoomed out. But it's very usable when zoomed in and if it's pretty dark, or you don't need a lot of light. Say if you are looking under a desk or bed. I love that it is USB rechargeable. I really have nothing bad to say about the light and the price is amazing for the quality of the light. I definitely recommend this product if you don't mind the light being big. It's definitely not a pocket light, and it's not marketed as one.

Very bright + Mode Memory, however.
The flashlight is very bright and it has multiple settings which make it a very versatile flashlight. The cycle of modes or settings include Bright, medium, low, strobe, S.O.S and OFF. However, the flashlight does not need to cycle through all the settings or modes to turn it off, you simply push down on the button for about a second and the flashlight turns off. That action to turn it off also allows the flashlight to record that last setting or mode that was used, allowing it to be turned back on in that very same setting it was prior to being turned off. It also has a telescopic function which allows the flashlight to be used as a spotlight or floodlight which is the biggest selling point in my opinion, as it adds more versatility beyond the other settings. I bought the double cell version as I wanted a flashlight with longer battery life between charges, and also because I realized many of the negative reviews were from costumers whom bought the single cell version. The flashlight has performed really well regarding the function of the different light settings during these few hours I have had it, but it does have some issues in the back/bottom of the flashlight where the function button and the micro usb charging port are located. The multi purpose button itself is rather small and not easily accessible as other larger buttons on other flashlight lights. The reason for the button being small is the fact that right next to it you have the micro USB port used to charge the battery. The port is protected by a flimsy rubber cover that doesn’t have enough elasticity or pivotal function to prevent it from ripping apart, which is exactly what happened to the flashlight I received. I didn’t realize the cover had ripped off until I grabbed it to test it outside and noticed there was no cover and saw it laying on the table. This is not a deal breaker for many, but it does annoy the hell out of me since I have only had the flashlight for a few hours and it already has a broken micro USB port cover and makes me wonder how that may affect the port’s ability to resist water or dust damage. It comes with a wrist strap or lanyard which loops under the flashlight rather than the side, making the flashlight unstable if it ever needs to be sat facing upwards. Overall this is a good flashlight especially for the price, but I really wish Anker would have chosen a different way to protect the USB port as the rubber cover is easily broken off without one being able to notice, leaving the port completely exposed to the elements. I have purchased many Anker products for myself and as gifts and have always had some positive feedback on their products. This product is no exception but I am really considering sending it back based on the poor, flimsy rubber cover that easily brakes off.

May get a fifth star if it holds up. (It held up, 5th star granted)
I fish at night. I need quality dependable lighting. This has provided the quality I demand and has also brought flexibility which is a huge bonus. For me, this is replacing a competitors 4 cell LED "magnum power" (get it ;)) which lasted no more than 5 years. It, in return, replaced a 4 cell non led that I got about 5 years out of. I still have one of those, a 3 cell 300ML which I love, and paid quite a bit for, but I'm wondering if I'll get 3 years or 3 more months out of it. The quality of that brand has disintegrated over the last decade or 2. So, needing a new light, I turned to Amazon. I did not even have a light like this on my radar. Most rechargeable lights (earlier generations) were absolute garbage. I received a rechargeable headlight as a gift last year though, and it has been great, so I started researching. With a budget that was quite a bit more than what I paid for this light, I read articles and reviews for hours. I looked at higher end lights, but shied away as I truly didn't think I'd be pleased with a rechargeable cree led. I finally settled on this one, figuring it was small enough to put in my vehicle as my emergency light if I hated it. Plus, I've had great luck with Anker cords and batteries, so figured "what the ell..." I got it, charged it, and used it that night. Took me a bit to get used to the bottom mounted switch (my other brand was side mounted at the top) and the long press (which isn't very long at all) to keep it in the dimmest setting so I wasn't blinded when trying knots or re-baiting lines, wasn't hard to get used to at all. When I needed it to light up the channel (we get floating logs that we scan for) to get back to the dock, dang it was bright. Used it 3 times now, same way, same situations. I am not giving it 5 stars yet as I want to use it a bit to ensure it keeps performing at this level. If it does, I will give it the 5th star. Build feel is excellent. No cheap rattles or any of that garbage I was expecting for this price point. Update 10/27. Still excellent. Giving it the 5th star.

Frist it wouldn't turn off, now it won't turn on.
It was great at first, wonderfully bright and I was excited to use it, but it hasn't even been a year and I have hardly used it and its already broken, I turned it on yesterday, and to my surprise when I hit the button again it would not turn off, I tried pressing the button and holding it, or just pressing it to see if it would change setting. But nothings happened, so I just sat it down for about an hour till the battery died, and then after charging it all the way back up to being fully charged, to my surprise it then wouldn't turn on at all. but now, a day later it works again, but I don't know for how long until the board in it messes up again, this flash light is just way to unreliable, what if I was in an emergency situation, like what if my car broke down and I was caught out in the dark with no light? or if I was out in the dark at night checking to see what I heard outside and this light just went off on me? how would I find my way back into the house? or if a breaker was tripped and I had to flip it back to get power in the house again? or if something goes wrong with my car and I need to see what's wrong under the hood? in all of those situations and more if it malfunctions on me and turns off or won't turn back on again that would be terrible, dangerous, and defeat the entire purpose of me buying a flash light in the first place. It's unfortunately not worth the money, as something is of poor quality in either the non removable battery or what ever board they used, or possibly both.

Love this flashlight
Ok so I've had multiple lights over the years. I almost didn't but this because of one thing... The battery is not removable BUT after using this for a few months, WHO CARES!!! THIS THING IS GREAT. Pros: Solid metal construction Super bright Cheap for the quality Rechargable Great zoom Comes with charge cord Multiple light mode Battery life is great Cons Wish it told me when it was getting low I used this every morning and night to walk my dog a minimum of 10 minutes each trip. The battery life was great, I only charged it once every week to a week and a half. It took me a minute to realize you hold the power button for 2 seconds to skip going through all the light modes in order to simply turn on and off. I'm extremely happy with this flashlight after researching for a couple weeks. Will probably order another before the warranty is up just to have a spare. This thing is BRIGHT, when zoomed in, I can see about a quarter of a mile maybe more. Love this thing.

Great, Amazing, Super Bright, and Satisfying Customer Services!!
Very very pleased with the performance, customer service of anker itself. The brightest flashlight i own. Price is very reasonable. Short story, i bought this 2 cell version of LC90, expect to have better battery life and brighter compare to the regular one, and it is, battery life is longer. Anker has committed that the satisfaction of the customer is their number one priority, that is why if there is any defects on their products they will replace it with the new one. In this case they replace mine which has defect on the item, the charging port doesn't work, and you know what, because of this lockdown cause of Covid-19 they dont asked me to return the item because i can't return it (i am working in the cruise ship) , they just sent me they new one and it is working perfectly like how it supposed to be, i love anker product and i appreciate the way they understand the situation, their product is amazing and their services is exceptional!!! Lot of my friend here working in the engine room are using anker flashlight. I have anker soundcore as well, 😁 Thank you!
