I kept seeing this brand advertised and it was time to order some salsa so I figured I’d try this. Personally, I love it. It tastes like salsa verde, just with a little kick due to the habanero. It’s not insanely spicy, it’s just enough without being overpowering, IMO anyways. I used it on tamales last night and scrambled eggs with cheese and ham this morning. I’m sold! My wife did not like it. She’s Mexican and does not like habanero in general and did not like it added to this salsa. Your mileage may vary depending on if you like habanero or if you prefer a more mild or spicy salsa verde. If you don’t mind a green salsa a little more on the spicy side, this is definitely worth a try!

This sauce is exactly as advertised. It is not face-meltingly hot but gives you what you want from the heat, without compromising on flavor. This is the best "serrano" flavor I have found. I will go with another favorite when I'm not looking for as much heat, but if I'm looking for heat AND flavor? Well, then this is the sauce I choose!! Use it on steak, chicken, a yummy quesadilla, as a pizza topping or in your salsa for that extra little kick. Thank You, Secret Aardvark, you NAILED it!!

Great heat without sacrificing flavor. Put it in your mouth hole and enjoy.

The flavor is different.. I know this shouldn’t be a surprise that every season yields different peppers, but this is VERY different from my last bottle. I give this 4 stars because it’s still good, and will definitely finish it, but I don’t think I’ll be getting another bottle. Green sauce (to me) should have a specific tomatillo note that can’t be missed, with uncompromising gradual heat. I’m not getting my usual warmth and it definitely isn’t as great with my eggs or grilled cheese sandwiches like I used to eat almost daily because the combination was so good. Still a good sauce, worth trying. I just don’t think it’s for me anymore 😔

This is a delicious green hot sauce that really is more 'in between' a hot sauce and a condiment or topping. The flavor is fantastic combining the serrano (prominent in my opinion) with a little more heat of habanero, but with a slight sweetness to offset the heat. This is NOT a super hot sauce but a good all around sauce good for use on vegetables, meats, eggs. I will personally buy this one again (and the red Aardvark habanero one as well)!

Has a great flavor but the bottle size is very small. Easy to go through this in a few weeks even when using sparingly. The price is expensive for what I received. Tasty but not enough to seek out - even if cheaper.

When I was out in Portland, I ate at a pub that had this on the table. I tried it on a sandwich and immediately fell in love. Aardvark makes the best sauces in the world. I have tried all of them and I think they are all excellent. It is a staple for me, regardless of the meal. I've had it on bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, burgers, chicken dishes. I have gifted this to so many people because it is truly a delicious product.

Heat level is pretty good. Not too spicy. Quality is top notch.
