Its an original dell power supply.
Dell factory charger just like the one that came with the laptop. Had a higher revision number which meant it was a newer revision than my old one.The AC cord was different but was not a problem. I bought this one over the cheaper ones because my laptop is valuable to me and I don't want to risk it on just a few bucks. They are all made in china but dell has input on the design and approval of it before they will use it.

Great OEM replacement
My old Dell adapter bit the dust after 3 years of heavy use. This replacement works perfectly. To extend the life of your charger, I recommend unplugging it when you power down your computer for the night. Otherwise the adapter block continues to suck power. If you feel it when you get up in the morning, the large block will be quite warm. I believe that is why my first one failed, I left it plugged in all the time, even when not powering the laptop.

Don't waste your money
This power supply worked fine for just two months, then died. Look elsewhere for a replacement.The power supply was kept in the same, ventilated location and not mishandled or knocked around - it simply failed.It appears to have been a genuine Dell part ( with the Dell logo etched into the plastic case), so perhaps another manufacturer (not that Dell is the actual manufacturer of these) would be better in the long run.Keep looking.

Good Power Supply
Used this to replace my power supply that had a damaged power cord, working great for months now

Not as described ... didn't work for my computer
Listed to work for my Dell computer -- I matched my own power cord numbers exactly -- and this power cord falls out .. slightly too small to fit into my computer. My computer turns on while it's plugged it, but because it is not a snug fit, it falls right out and my computer turns right off.
